A closure for a container includes a top panel, a skirt depending from the top panel and extending circumferentially about a central axis, a tamper-evident band attached to the skirt, and at least one thread extending from an interior surface of the skirt. The skirt extends from a first end attached to the top panel to a second end opposite the first end. The skirt is tapered radially outward from the first end to the second end such that a diameter of the skirt at the second end is greater than the diameter of the skirt at the first end.

In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to dispensers. In some embodiments, a dispenser comprises a main body including an outer wall and an inner wall, the inner wall defining an aperture through the main body; a first seal, wherein the first seal is affixed to the main body and encloses a lower portion of the aperture; a button seated within the aperture and configured to be manipulable between a first position and a second position; a container housed within the button and configured to store a material, wherein when the button is in the second position the container contacts the first seal to allow the material to exit the dispenser; and a second seal, wherein the second seal is affixed to an upper surface of the main body and encloses an upper portion of the aperture.

The present application is directed to a closure for a container having a generally annular neck defining a container opening having a central axis, the closure including: an annular top wall having opposed inner and outer surfaces; a generally annular skirt extending downwardly from the inner surface of the top wall, the generally annular skirt having opposed outer and inner surfaces; and an elastic annular seal member extending downwardly from an inner surface of the top wall, the annular seal member adapted to engage the inner surface of the neck of the container.

A sealable hatch assembly may include a hatch lid and an elongated pocket on the interior side of the hatch lid and extending adjacent the perimeter. The elongated pocket may at least partially define a pocket width, and the sealable hatch assembly also may include a seal member received in the elongated pocket. The seal member may be configured to provide an uninterrupted seal between the hatch lid and a hatch extension coupled to the compartment adjacent the opening. The seal member may include an inner seal portion and an outer seal portion at least partially coating the inner seal portion. The inner seal portion may be elastically compressible, and the outer seal portion may be chemically resistant. The seal member may define a cross-section having an uncompressed dimension greater than the pocket width, such that the seal member is at least partially compressed as received in the elongated pocket.

A closure for use with a container, the closure including a cap assembly with a lower cap configured to attach to a neck of the container. A flip-top reclosable lid is hingedly attached to the cap assembly. The hinge permitting the lid to be pivoted open and closed relative to the cap assembly. A plurality of frangible spokes extend between and are integrally molded to the flip-top lid and the cap assembly. The spokes are spaced about a periphery of the flip-top lid and configured to break when the lid is first opened thereby providing a visual indication that the closure has been opened.

Sliced ready-to-eat meat are provided by slicing ready-to-eat meat, disposing the meat into a flexible pouch with a modified atmosphere, and sealing the flexible pouch containing the meat. The flexible pouch is formed from material having: i) a thickness of from about 0.2 mils to about 2 mils; ii) an MVTR of about 1.2 g/100 in.sup.2/24 Hrs @ 100° F., 90% RH, 1 atm or less; iii) an 02 Gas Transmission Rate of about 0.8 cc/100 sqin/day or less at 1 atmosphere, 0% relative humidity and 73° F. or less; and iv) a clarity of about 80% or greater.

Provided is a liquid storage bottle that can ensure sufficient sealing performance when a liquid tank is replenished with a liquid. A liquid storage bottle stores a liquid with which a liquid tank is replenished, has a bottle body and a discharge port that discharges a liquid stored in the bottle body, and has a discharge nozzle in which a liquid injection tube of the liquid tank can be inserted via the discharge port and an annular fixed seal member that is provided to the discharge port and seals a part between the discharge port and the liquid injection tube inserted in the discharge port. The fixed seal member has a plurality of annular seal portions that are arranged apart from each other in the axis direction of a discharge nozzle and are individually in contact with the liquid injection tube inserted in the discharge port.

A flip straw cup assembly having a container body, a lid that may be detachable and a straw assembly. The lid includes a flip straw that is biased towards an extended position and retractable into a recess and securable by a flip lock. The straw assembly includes a straw body, a cap and a resealable seam extending the longitudinal length of the straw body that is adapted to open the straw body for cleaning.

A re-sealable container is disclosed having a lid, a body, an attachment mechanism, and a seal. The seal may extend from, or be attached to, the lid and engage at least a portion of the body, such as the side wall, including the body sealing surface and/or the lip. The engagement of the seal and body creates a seal that prevents the ingress of moisture and ambient conditions into an interior space of the body. The attachment mechanism may retain the lid in a seated, closed position on the body. The configuration of the seal and attachment mechanism accommodate a degree of error in the joining and placement of the lid and body while allowing for both the formation of a seal between the lid and body and the locking of the lid when the lid is in a closed position.

A container cap which is combined with a container containing a beverage or the like, and a container combined with the container cap. The container cap is combined with a container inlet of a container body. A plurality of close contact portions in contact with the container inlet are formed, and the close contact portions form a closed curve enclosing the container inlet so as to block inflow of external air from the outside into the container body.
