Stackable container system and method
A food storage system comprising a bottom receptacle, a plurality of stackable containers, a handle configured to extend over a topmost one of the plurality of stackable containers, and a fastening mechanism having a bottom end coupled to the bottom receptacle and a top end coupled to the top lid. A length of the fastening mechanism is adjustable so that a spacing between the bottom receptacle and the handle is adjustable.
PACKAGING TIE
A tie well-suited for use in retail packaging applications includes a plastic head insert molded around one end of a paper-based cord, such as a length of twine, string or other similar environmentally-friendly material. In one embodiment, the plastic head includes a generally rectangular buckle shaped to define an elongated channel dimensioned to receive the free end of the paper-based cord. A deflectable pawl is coupled to the buckle and is naturally biased to project into the channel and selectively engage the cord in order to retain the tie in a closed loop configuration. The buckle includes a substantially open side wall through which the paper-based cord can be extracted after the tie is formed in its closed loop configuration. A clip is preferably provided on the head for selectively retaining a section of the paper-cord that has been inserted through the elongated channel.
CHILD-RESISTANT CLOSURE
The invention comprises a lid configured to close the open end of a container, wherein the lid comprises a track disposed at least partially circumferentially within a peripheral portion of the lid, at least one insertion point within the track, and at least one retention region within the track. A ring is disposed circumferentially about the container, wherein the ring comprises at least one post which is configured to be inserted into and removed from the at least one insertion point and retained within the retention region. At least one of the ring and the lid are circumferentially rotatable between a locked position, wherein the at least one post is within the at least one retention region and an unlocked position, wherein the at least one post is within the at least one insertion point.
CLOSURE COMBINATION
A closure combination (101) comprising a dispensing closure body (102) and a container neck (103). The dispensing closure body (102) and container neck (103) comprise co-operable screw threads (104, 105) that allow the dispensing closure body (102) to be screwed onto the container neck (103) into an engaged condition. The co-operable screw threads (104, 105) prevent the dispensing closure body (102) from being unscrewed from the container neck (103) after the dispensing closure body (102) has been screwed onto the container neck (103) into a locked condition. A dispensing closure body (102) comprising an internal screw thread (10) that comprises a reversed-thread run out portion (107). A container with a container neck (103) comprising an external screw thread (105) that comprises a reversed-thread run out portion (108). A method of providing a tamper-resistance container closure combination (101).
Fastener with Support Feature for Pawl Component
A fastener assembly having a unique pawl design for the head portion of a fastener assembly. The fastener assembly may be a cable tie that includes a head portion having a pawl that includes a primary pawl tooth, at least one set of secondary pawl teeth, and a shelf support feature for pawl. The fastener assembly of the present invention prevent pawl roll out which is a failure that currently occurs with fastener assembly currently available in the market place.
CONTAINER CLOSURE
The invention relates to a container closure made of plastic, comprising a lower closure part, which can be fastened to an opening of a container. Of the invention, the lower closure part has a collar, which can be inserted into the opening of the container. The at least one locking projection can be moved in the direction of a center axis of the lower closure part in a reversible elastic manner in relation to the collar. The at least one locking projection is designed in such a way that, when the at least one locking projection and an undercut shaped in the opening engage with each other, the at least one locking projection and said undercut form a lock that cannot be detached in the direction of the center axis. The collar has at least one through-hole, and the locking projection can be displaced through the through-hole.
DISPENSING DEVICE
A dispensing device for introducing a pourable detergent in metered amounts into a treatment chamber of a program-controlled cleaning appliance includes a housing provided with a loading aperture; a carrier unit rotatably mounted in the housing and accessible via the loading aperture and which serves to replaceably receive a supply container for holding the detergent; and a housing cover providing fluid-tight closure of the loading aperture. The housing cover includes a cover member providing the fluid-tight closure of the loading aperture and a locking member movably attached to the cover member, the locking member including a plurality of locking elements, each cooperating with a respective locking finger disposed on the housing.
Container with a screw cap
A container, preferably in the form of a bucket, includes a closure for closing the container. The closure includes a closed lid plate that is placeable on a container rim bounding a container opening in order to cover the container opening. A lock ring is placeable over the lid plate and screwable to the container. The lid plate is fixable to the container with the lock ring. A seal ring is arranged between the container rim and lid plate for sealing the container opening. The lid plate has a rim portion with a receiving portion, in particular U-shaped, that receives the container rim and encompasses the container rim radially from the inside and outside.
Dispensing Device for Dispensing a Viscous or Liquid Product from a Reservoir, and a Receptacle Comprising Such a Dispensing Device
A dispensing device for dispensing a viscous or liquid product from a fluid reservoir, and having an actuator 1, a controlling member 2, a dispensing member 3, a collar 4 configured to be linked to the reservoir, and an extender 5. The dispensing device configured so that an actuation of the controlling member 2 causes a relative movement of the actuator 1 and the collar 4 thanks to which the dispensing device reversibly switches from a first configuration, in which the dispensing member 3 is unable to be activated, to a second configuration in which the actuator 1 is coupled in translation with the extender 5, so that when the actuator is pushed down 1 it activates the dispensing member 3.
SECURE SMART CONTAINER ASSEMBLY, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A mobile smart container system comprises a housing, an access component configured to secure access to a compartment within the housing when in a closed position, a communication interface configured to wirelessly receive a request to access the compartment, a perceivable output device, an electromechanical latch configured to engage with the access component to releasably lock the access component in the closed position, and a processor. The processor receives and authenticates the request to access the compartment and, in response to receiving and authenticating the request, activates the electromechanical latch to unlock the access component to make the compartment accessible, and outputs, upon actuation of the electromechanical latch, an alert via the perceivable output device to identify the smart container system.
