In one embodiment, a collapsible, flat lying container may include a base connecting to a plurality of sidewalls. The base and the plurality of sidewalls may be constructed from a rigid plastic and connected by a flexible joint. Each sidewall in the plurality of sidewalls may be connected to two other sidewalls by a flexible joint. Further, at least one of the plurality of sidewalls may be connected to a lid which is constructed from a rigid plastic by a flexible joint.
