In a second aspect of the invention, there is provided a method for opening a box closed with adhesive tape, wherein a box cutter is attached to the box according to the method mentioned above. The method includes the steps of at least partially removing the sheet from the box cutter to gain access to the box cutter; removing the box cutter from the outer surface of the box; and cutting the adhesive tape with the box cutter.
