Massaging or brushing bite plates
An orthodontic remodeling device, wherein the bite plate is modified to have textured teeth and gum facing surfaces so as to provide cleaning, massaging or acupressure effect when in use.
Methods for direct fabrication of attachment placement appliances
Methods for fabricating attachment placement appliances are provided. In some embodiments, a method includes directly fabricating an attachment placement appliance body including a support formed in a tooth-receiving cavity configured to receive a tooth. The method can include directly fabricating one or more coupling structures connected to the support, and directly fabricating an aligner attachment connected to the one or more coupling structures. The attachment placement appliance body can be configured to align the aligner attachment to a predetermined location on the tooth. The aligner attachment can be shaped to engage with an attachment well of a shell aligner and exert one or more forces on the tooth when the aligner attachment is coupled to the attachment well. The one or more coupling structures can be configured to release the aligner attachment with removal of the attachment placement appliance body from the tooth.
Tooth enamel replacement
A method for performing enamel replacement on a tooth in the mouth of a person, the method including: beginning an arch reformulation therapy (ART) process, selecting a tooth for an enamel replacement process to be performed on, identifying a surface of the tooth to have a dental composite material adhered to as part of the enamel replacement process, discluding multiple teeth during the ART process including the selected tooth, preparing the identified surface of the selected tooth for adherence of a dental composite material, the preparation including application of a preparation material to the surface of the tooth, and applying the dental composite material to the prepared surface.
Dental Orthodontic Accelerator
A dental orthodontic accelerator, wherein related electronic devices are arranged in the left part of the mounting rack, and a polarizing motor is arranged in the right part. These electronic devices include a rechargeable battery, a PCB and a mechanically controlled switch from top to bottom. The mechanically controlled switch comes into contact with the housing. The dental orthodontic accelerator achieves the coordination among housing, mounting rack, polarizing motor, rechargeable battery, PCB and mechanically controlled switch. During the operation, a user presses the mechanically controlled switch, turns on the polarizing motor for vibration, bites the housing for mastication or occlusion, which will produce masticatory or occlusal force; meanwhile, the vibration produced by the polarizing motor stimulates the activity of bone cells so that the blood flow is quickened and the orthodontic treatment is accelerated. The dental orthodontic accelerator an accelerated orthodontic treatment.
Fluoride releasing bite plate
The present disclosure relates to bite plates for use with various orthodontic remodeling devices. A bite plate that releases fluoride during use, thus encouraging remineralization on enamel is described. Additionally, bite plates with a colorant or color-changing matrix that serve as indicators for fluoride concentration are also described.
Dental Orthodontic Accelerator
A dental orthodontic accelerator includes a lower housing, a vibrating mechanism, an upper housing and a bite gum. The vibrating mechanism comprises a vibrating source support. A vibrating source is arranged in the vibrating source support. A rechargeable battery is connected below the vibrating source. A control circuit board is connected to the rechargeable battery. A control switch is arranged at the bottom of the control circuit board. A through-hole corresponding to the position of the control switch is arranged in the lower housing. During operation, a user bites the bite gum for mastication or occlusion, which will produce masticatory or occlusal force; while the bite gum is masticated, the control switch is turned on to make the vibrating source vibrate; the vibration stimulates the activity of bone cells so that the blood flow is quickened and the orthodontic treatment is accelerated.
Orthodontic system and device
An orthodontic device and, in particular, an orthodontic bracket that is slidable along a wire without external forces is provided. The device may include a first and second gear, each of which are independently movable between a locked position in which the gear is prevented from rotation, and a released configuration in which the gear extends into the channel to engage a wire received within the channel and is rotatable to move the device along the wire. The first gear may be rotatable to move the device in a first direction while the second gear may be rotatable to move the device in a second direction opposite the first direction. Thus, the first and second gears have the ability to move along the wire in short or long distances, as desired.
INTRAORAL VIBRATORY MULTIFUNCTIONAL DEVICE AND WIRELESS SYSTEM FOR INTERACTION BETWEEN DEVICE, PATIENT, AND DENTIST
The intraoral vibratory multifunctional device and wireless system for interaction between device, patient, and dentist, which stands out, among other things, for being comprised by independent segments, so that the applicability of the activation protocols by isolated segments of the arch becomes very simple, and can also be activated together, all segments simultaneously. In short, the invention provides a broad and real time relationship between the dental professional and the patient, in addition to offering other entertainment which could possibly be used. The invention consists of a dental device that has vibration characteristics by means of vibration and a clamping element attached to the dental arch or braces, with the dental braces (AP) composed of microvibrators (1), vibration band (2), and sensors (S1). A remote interaction system provides interactive communication between patient (P), dentist (D1), and the system itself. In short, the invention provides a broad and real time relationship between the dental professional and the patient, in addition to offering other entertainment which could possibly be used.
MICRO VIBRATING DEVICES FOR DENTAL USE
Described is a vibrating device for delivering energy to at least a portion of a dental appliance. The vibrating device may be inserted into a biting element or attached to a biting element to apply vibrations to the dental appliance to aid in aligning a user's teeth.
DIRECT FABRICATION OF ATTACHMENT TEMPLATES WITH ADHESIVE
Systems, methods, and devices for producing orthodontic appliances are provided. In one aspect, an orthodontic appliance comprises an outer shell comprising a plurality of cavities shaped to receive the patient's teeth and generate one or more of a force or a torque in response to the appliance being worn on the patient's teeth. The orthodontic appliance can comprise an inner structure having a stiffness different than a stiffness of the outer shell. The inner structure can be positioned on an inner surface of the outer shell in order to distribute the one or more of a force or a torque to at least one tooth received within the plurality of cavities.
