An orthodontic treatment device having a U-shaped bite plate (2) which follows a jaw contour, a vibration unit (5) connected to the bite plate (2) to produce an oscillation of the bite plate, and a main unit (6) which is in contact with the vibration unit (5) and controls the same and provides it with power, wherein the vibration unit (5) and the main unit (6) are integrated liquid-tight in the bite plate, and a battery unit (7) of the main unit (6) is designed to charge wirelessly.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INCREASING BONE DENSITY IN THE MOUTH

A method of growing bone or maintaining orthodontic tooth movement provides a dental device which includes a mouthpiece configured to sit against occlusal surfaces of a patient's teeth and a motor connected to the mouthpiece. The motor is configured to vibrate at a predetermined frequency or acceleration. The method focuses on detecting and measuring the frequency or acceleration at or near the patient's teeth and adjusting the vibration to match the predetermined frequency or acceleration in a feedback loop mechanism mediated by the dental device.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR OSSEOUS GRAFT CONVERSION
20240277451 · 2024-08-22 ·

A device and method for accelerating the conversion of oral bone graft to alveolar bone following extraction in a patient includes a vibrational dental device having a mouthpiece for contacting the dentition. Instructions are provided for using the vibrational dental device by placing the mouthpiece over the dentition, applying a vibratory force during a predetermined number of sessions throughout a predetermined treatment period, wherein the conversion of bone graft material to mature bone is enhanced and/or accelerated compared to without vibratory treatment.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF MORE DIRECTLY VIBRATING AN ORTHOPEDIC-ORTHODONTIC DEVICE
20180333225 · 2018-11-22 · ·

The present invention relates to a method and system for applying localized vibration directly to particular teeth with the upper and lower jaws. A headgear using an inner bow comprising at least two arms that inserts into the upper first molars and an elastic-type headgear strap attaches to the back of the neck and to the outside, or outer bow also having at least two arms. The inner bow and outer bow are coupled together generally in the center (or alternatively with at least one lateral extension that is off-centered) by an external extension. The external extension may further have a protrusion, that inserts into a corresponding orifice within a vibrating orthodontic device.

Night time orthodontics

Night time use of removable orthodontic appliances coupled with night time use of accelerated orthodontic treatment modalities is provided. Accelerated orthodontic treatment modalities include micropulse vibrations, ultrasound vibrations, photobiomodulation, IR light, low-level laser therapy, pulsed EM fields, static magnetic fields, resonance vibrations, indirect electric current, direct electric current, pharmacological accelerators, surgical accelerators, decortication, osteoperforation, alveocentesis, and piezocision.

Dental vibration application method and dental vibration application device

The present application discloses a vibration application method including a stage for contacting a contact portion with at least one tooth, and a stage for causing the contact portion to vibrate so as to impart displacement of 0.04 m or more to the contact portion. The difference between the maximum value and minimum value of a vibrational load during the time the contact portion is vibrating may be 3 gf to 10 gf. The stage for contacting the contact portion with the at least one tooth may include a stage for contacting the contact portion with an orthodontic appliance attached to the at least one tooth.

Method and device for increasing bone density in the mouth

A dental device includes a mouthpiece configured to sit against occlusal surfaces of a patient's teeth and a motor connected to the mouthpiece. The motor is configured to vibrate the mouthpiece at a frequency between 60 and 120 Hz and an acceleration between 0.03 G and 0.06 G such that the mouthpiece places an axial vibratory force on the occlusal surfaces.

DEVICE FOR ELECTRICAL STIMULATION OF PERIDONTAL COMPLEX AND SURROUNDING TISSUE
20240325734 · 2024-10-03 ·

A device for electrical stimulation of one or more components of the periodontal complex and surrounding tissue of a tooth, for uses such as reducing orthodontic pain and encouraging tooth movement, has electrodes of a rigid, electrically conductive material in a fixed spatial relationship configured for application to oral mucosa and attached gingiva adjacent to, and along a periodontal ligament of, a root structure of a single tooth. An electrical circuit is configured for electrical connection to the at least two electrodes. The electrical circuit has an output providing a subsensory electrical stimulus comprising a waveform in accordance with predetermined stimulation parameters. After the electrodes are applied to the oral mucosa and attached gingiva adjacent to, and along the periodontal ligament of, a root structure of the tooth, a switch, when activated, activates the electrical circuit to output the electrical stimulus through the at least two electrodes.

ORTHODONTIC ASSEMBLY
