An exemplary tamper evident tub is disclosed. In various embodiments, the exemplary tub includes one or more breakable tabs in near proximity to a lid latching assembly. The one or more breakable tabs, in particular embodiments, prevent access to one or more lift tabs and latches, while the tamper evident tub lid is in a closed position. In various embodiments, the one or more lift tabs and latches are operable to allow for the lid to be opened from a closed position. In some embodiments, removing the breakable tabs allows access to the one or more lift tabs and latches, and further indicates that the exemplary tub has been tampered with.

A biodegradable container including a unitary polymeric body element having a top portion and a cylindrical body portion. The top portion has a cylindrical neck wherein the cylindrical neck defines an inner surface and an outer surface. The container further includes a polymeric bottom element welded to the cylindrical body portion of the unitary polymeric body element. A polymeric cap defines an internal rim configured to be received by the inner surface of the cylindrical neck. The polymeric cap includes an external cover having an interior surface which may be tapered so that the outer surface of the cylindrical neck and the interior surface of the external cover form an inner seal. The interior surface of the external cover may also form an outer seal with the outer surface of the cylindrical neck when the polymeric cap is in a closed position.

A chain of custody tracking system. The chain of custody tracking system can include a container, the container having a bottom at a lower portion and at least one sidewall extending from the bottom to a peripheral edge at an upper portion, the peripheral edge defining an opening. The upper portion of the container sidewall can have a channel having a channel height, the channel height being defined by a first extension of the sidewall and a second extension of the sidewall. The first extension of the sidewall can be a rib, the rib having a sloped surface that extends outwardly from the sidewall. the chain of custody tracking system has a first condition wherein a first lid is removably coupled to the container and removably coupled to a first indicator, and a second condition wherein the first lid is uncoupled from the first indicator.

A tamper evident delivery bag assembly includes a first and second that each includes an upper section terminating at an upper edge of the first panel and an opposed upper edge of the second panel. The upper edges cooperate to define a bag opening into a content receiving region. The upper sections are movable between an opened condition and a closed condition, the closed condition where the upper edges are oriented in opposed, adjacent, relationship to one another. A handle is mounted to each upper section of the first and second panels, and each handle includes a pair of spaced-apart leg portions that are aligned adjacent one another when the upper sections are oriented in the closed condition. A single use closure tape is laterally mounted to the first panel upper section, and includes an upper lateral portion extending laterally above the first edge thereof in an unsealed condition. The tape upper lateral portion includes a pair of cutouts strategically aligned with the first leg portion of the first handle. The tape upper lateral portion can be folded over the second edge of the second panel such that an adhesive of the tape is brought into contact with the exterior surface of the second panel, substantially sealing the bag opening in a sealed condition. The leg portions of the handles are received through the cutouts of the tape.

A product preparation system and method for processing a container including a cup body and a cup closure assembly configured for removable operative engagement with the cup body, the cup closure assembly including a hinged spout cover and a user-removable multi-function restricting portion integrally formed as part of the cup closure assembly and detachable therefrom, the user-removable multi-function restricting portion being operative, when integrally attached to the cup closure assembly to prevent normal user opening of the hinged spout cover.

The tape upper lateral portion can be folded over the second edge of the second panel such that an adhesive of the tape is brought into contact with the exterior surface of the second panel, substantially sealing the bag opening in a sealed condition. The leg portions of the handles are received through the cutouts of the tape. The closure tape member further includes a note tab extending downwardly from a middle lateral portion thereof. The note tab includes a tab adhesive and a removable protective cover. When the protective cover is removed, the note can be placed between the tab adhesive and the exterior surface of the first panel, and adhered therebetween in a mounted condition.

A tamper evident delivery bag assembly includes a first and second that each includes an upper section terminating at an upper edge of the first panel and an opposed upper edge of the second panel. The upper edges cooperate to define a bag opening into a content receiving region. A tamper-evident structure for securing a lid to a container of a carton for holding a food product includes a plurality of panels having a top panel and at least one side panel, and at least one panel of the plurality of panels is for being attached to at least one of the lid and the container of the carton. At least one indicating feature provides indication that the lid has been at least partially removed from the container.
