TAMPER EVIDENT BAG
A tamper evident bag has front and rear panels connected together along opposite first and second side edge margins and a bottom edge margins that define a bag interior and a first bag opening therebetween. The front and rear panels each have a tear line with a first end and a second end, the first and second ends being located at the first side edge margin. The first and second ends of each tear line being spaced part. The tear lines extend over the front and rear panels but remain spaced from the second side edge margin. Each tear line defines a respective tear out section on the front and rear panels. The tear out sections are joined along the first side edge margin and are configured to be removed to create a second bag opening.
Flexible package with tamper-evident anti-counterfeiting label and method of making the same
A flexible package having a tamper evident product authentication label secured thereto and methods of making the same are disclosed. The package includes at least one panel having a heat seal line. The label has an outer surface with authentication indicia appearing thereon and an inner surface adhesively secured to the package adjacent the heat seal line. The label includes peripheral portions that are frangible, with one of the frangible peripheral portions of the label being located within a portion of the area made up by the heat seal line. Accordingly, attempted removal of the label from the package will cause the label to tear, leaving at least a portion of the peripheral edge of the label secured to the package to thereby prevent reuse of the label.
TAMPER-EVIDENT THERMOFORMED PACKAGING
A package having a lid seated on a base where the edge of the seated lid is generally inaccessible, and where the edge is made accessible by a movement of a tamper-evident tab. The base and lid are configured so that opening of the tamper-evident tab locks the tab in the opened position. The inner edge of the tamper-evident tab is joined to the base by a hinge. The tamper-evident tab includes a protrusion that extends inwardly beyond the hinge. The lid includes a retention feature overlying the tamper-evident tab. The protrusion interacts with the retention feature to provide an audible indication when the tamper-evident tab is opened and to retain the tamper-evident tab in the opened position. The protrusion may be configured to lift the lid when the tamper-evident tab is in the opened position.
Lid lever for container
A container (100) with a lid lever (132) to disengage a lid present on a rim portion (112) of the container (100) is disclosed. The lid lever (132) is integrated between two cuts and is attached to a primary skirt (114) of the container (100). The lid lever (132) is pulled laterally outward towards a free end to disengage the lid. A secondary skirt (138) in the form of a flange is present behind the lid lever (132). The secondary skirt (138) prevents deformation of the primary skirt (114) and the rim portion (112) of the container (100). The shape of the lid lever (132) extends past the primary skirt (114) thereby making the lid lever (132) more effective and further makes it distinguishable from the primary skirt (114).
AN IMPROVED PLASTIC CONTAINER BODY AND CONTAINER CLOSURE AND CARRY HANDLE GRIP / CONTAINER LEVERAGE OPENING TOOL ASSEMBLY
A plastic injection moulded wide mouth container body and container cover locking and sealing mechanism which includes an annular flange and an annular angular notch groove respectively in a pre-determined configuration so as to provide a tight leak-proof seal when the container lid is fitted over, around and within the container body hoop annular fin and upon locking engagement. The present invention incorporates a multi-use plastic handle grip which may also be used as a closure opening levering tool to disengage the container lid from the container body in a safe and ergonomic manner. More significantly the invention, and when in use and upon first usage opening, does not require the removal of any portion of the container lid to comply with tamper evident requirements, nor needs other tools such as knives and metal levers to completely remove the container closure from the container body. Still furthermore the invention includes a plurality of venting channels and adjacent ports which allows the evacuation of increased internal air pressure within the closed container head space with no leakage of the packaged fluid product. The invention may be adapted to plastic containers of any size and shape being round, oval, square or rectangular tapered or straight wall containers.
TAMPER-EVIDENT LOCK FOR ONE-PIECE THERMOFORMED CONTAINER
A one-piece thermoformed reclosable plastic container includes a base defining a chamber, a cover for closing the base, an integral hinge connecting the base and cover for relative movement, and a tamper-evident locking assembly formed by opposing members extending outwardly from the periphery of the base and cover that are configured to securely engage with each other in an initial closed and locked position of the container. At least one of the two locking members includes an engaged portion that is releasably connected to a periphery of the base and/or the cover and is manually removed when the container is initially opened, making it apparent to the merchant and/or customer that the locking assembly has been opened.
SECURITY CLOSURE SYSTEM AND DEVICES FOR CONTAINERS
The present invention relates to a security closure system and devices for containers, which can be used in any type of container and can be validated by means of simple sight and touch, thereby being tamper-resistant and preventing any adulteration by means of the non-authorised re-use of the original container. The system and devices are preferably used in containers made from vitreous materials such as ceramics, plastics and thermoplastics, owing to the properties of stiffness. The devices of the invention can be used for any product and any type of container, such as bottles for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, containers for cosmetics, perfumes, drugs, food and valuable items such as watches, electronics or fine jewelry.
PACKAGE AND PROCESS OF MAKING THE SAME
A package includes a casing of made sheet material defining an inner volume, the casing including first lateral walls defining a first passage opening delimited by a first free edge, the casing including an engagement portion extending from a lateral wall of the first lateral walls inside of the inner volume to provide a projection, wherein the engagement portion extends from the first free edge of the casing in a direction towards the inner volume. The package also includes a container made of sheet material, separate from the casing, and configured for housing a product, the container comprising second lateral walls defining a second passage opening delimited by a second free edge, the second passage opening of the container being configured for insertion and withdrawal of the product from the container, and the container being configurable between first and second operative positions.
TAMPER EVIDENT CLAMSHELL CONTAINER
Tamper evident clamshell containers include a first half hingedly coupled to a second half. The first half has a first closure edge with a tamper evident closure frangibly coupled thereto and the second half has a second closure edge with an engagement feature. The tamper evident closure can be coupled to the engagement feature to close the container. A force necessary to decouple the tamper evident closure and the engagement feature is greater than a force necessary to frangibly decouple the tamper evident closure from the first closure edge of the first half of the container.
