A dispensing closure is provided and comprises a base and a lid. The base includes a sidewall closed at one end by a top deck including a dispensing orifice. The base and lid are joined by a hinge to allow the lid to move between closed and open positions with respect to the base whereby to close and open the dispensing orifice. At the periphery of the top deck the sidewall forms or provides a raised lip. The lid closes onto the top deck and is bounded by the lip and the lid is generally flush with the lip when in the closed position.

A tamperproof beverage container unsealed by rotation of a lid is disclosed herein. In a general example embodiment, the beverage container includes a body configured to seal a beverage therein, the body including at least a top surface, the top surface including a main surface and at least one sealing surface covering at least one body aperture, and a lid configured to at least partially cover the top surface of the body, the lid including at least one projection which unseals the at least one sealing surface to reveal the at least one body aperture when the lid is rotated with respect to the body.

User-friendly tamper-resistant/tamper-evident container-seal system for containers of consumer goods and methods of use
11390428 · 2022-07-19 · ·

The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer-product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user to better grip and/or exert force/leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. Specifically, it features an improved seal-removal assembly that provides a collapsible finger-receiving aperture that allows a user to insert at least one user finger (or an elongated tool, such as a writing utensil), and exert upward force to breach the container seal.

Fluid container closure

A closure (1) for a fluid container includes a top deck (11), a skirt (13) extending from the top deck (11) in an axial direction (−z), wherein the skirt (13) comprises a screw thread (14), slits (17) in the skirt (13), an elongated stabilizing section (15) and retaining means on the inside of the skirt (13) for engagement of a collar (36B) of the neck finish (31) of the fluid container (3). The closure includes torque engagement means (12) arranged on the outside of the top deck (11) for interacting with a torqueing member during fitting of the closure (1).

Filling Aluminum Cans Aseptically
20220242602 · 2022-08-04 ·

Methods of manufacturing shelf stable pods containing food or drink to be rapidly cooled, include inserting a mixing paddle into an aluminum can through an open end of a body of the can and sterilizing the can and mixing paddle at temperatures below a stress relief temperature of the can in a first aseptic chamber. The method also includes filling the can with a sterilized food or drink in the aseptic chamber, sealing a sterilized base of the can to the open end of the body of the can with a food-safe adhesive to create a hermetic seal, removing the can from the first aseptic chamber while maintaining the hermetic seal outside the first aseptic chamber, and mechanically seaming the base to the can.

CONTAINER THAT PREVENTS FROM AN ILLEGAL OPERATION AND CAN BE EASILY IDENTIFIED AFTER BEING ILLEGALLY OPERATED
20220250808 · 2022-08-11 ·

Disclosed is a container that prevents illegal operations and can be easily identified after being illegally operated. The container has a tension-breaking type buckle member having an annular tear line including connecting ribs and slits spaced apart from the annular tear line. A longitudinal line is defined by the middle point of the outer edge of the pull piece extending through the center point of the annular tear line, and the center of the annular tear line defines horizontal and longitudinal lines orthogonal to each other. The container further includes a weakening strength unit of tear line with a first weakening slit formed on both sides of the annular tear line close to the two sides of the pull tab. The extension length of the first weakening slit is between the angle range of plus or minus 15 to 20 degrees with the horizontal line as the center point.
