An aseptic cap for containers with evidence of first opening includes a protective cover positioned on a pouring element and produced as a single piece, which has an upper and a lower part connected by frangible bridges facing edges of the upper and the lower parts of the cover, and by a hinge arrangement. The pouring element includes a cylindrical element formed by two sections having different diameters separated by a step defined by a radial annular extension, which protrudes from the lower cylindrical part of the cover and is at least partially inserted in the upper part of the cover. The upper part of the cover has, in its interior, an appendix or flap which extends to rest above the annular extension, to become folded when the cap is mounted, and which is arranged straight downwardly to be abutted above the annular extension after the first opening.

TAMPER-EVIDENT TAKEAWAY BOX

A takeaway box can include a main body with a lid. The lid can be configured to selectively move between an opened position and a closed position. The lid can include a lid panel, a tear panel, and an adhesive panel. The tear panel can be disposed between the lid panel and the adhesive panel. The adhesive panel can have an adhesive. The adhesive can be configured to affix the adhesive panel to a base panel of the takeaway box when the lid is in the closed position. A portion of the tear panel can be formed adjacent to the adhesive panel. The portion of the tear panel can be configured to be torn from the tear panel and the adhesive panel, thereby permitting the lid to be moved to the opened position when the adhesive panel is affixed to the base panel of the takeaway box.

IMPROVED USER-FRIENDLY TAMPER-RESISTANT/TAMPER-EVIDENT CONTAINER-SEAL SYSTEM FOR CONTAINERS OF CONSUMER GOODS AND METHODS OF USE
20210316906 · 2021-10-14 · ·

The inventive disclosures described herein pertain to an improved tamper-resistant/tamper-evident (TE) seal for containers of consumer/commercial product-containment vessels (such as, for example, prescription bottles, condiment bottles, etc.) that enables a user, and in particular older persons, to better grip and/or exert leverage to more-easily and reliably open such containers. In one embodiment of the improved TE seal, a typical prior-art seal configuration that features an inner seal with a small overlapping flexible pull-tab layer is improved by affixing the pull-tab to another substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can insert the pull-tab member between two of the user's fingers wherein the two user fingers are also disposed between the inner seal and the substantially rigid upper layer such that a user can more easily exert leverage/force to open the container that employs the tamper-resistant seal. This configuration is generally referred to as a “T-tab” configuration.

FLUID CONTAINER CLOSURE SYSTEM

A fluid container closure system includes a fluid outlet, a neck finish adjacent to the fluid outlet, wherein the neck finish includes a retaining rim, protruding in a radial outward direction and encircling the neck finish. A screw cap includes a base with a top deck and a skirt and a tamper evident band with a base having a lateral inner surface. The screw cap includes a predetermined breaking structure along which the skirt and the tamper evident band are interconnected. The tamper evident band includes a lip extending along the inner lateral surface of the tamper evident band base and inwardly therefrom, wherein the lip includes a hinge section and a retaining surface configured so when the screw cap is initially applied to the fluid container, the lip is folded upward about the hinge section such that the retaining surface in an applied position of the screw cap is positioned underneath the retaining rim.

Metallic container with a threaded closure

The present invention relates generally to a container that may be sealed and reclosed with a threaded closure. More specifically, the present invention relates to methods of manufacturing a metallic container having an opening with inwardly facing threads that are formed after a threaded closure is inserted at least partially into the opening. The container opening may be selectively sealed and reclosed with the threaded closure which releasably engages the container threads.

RECYCLABLE CONTAINER CLOSURE HAVING INFORMATIONAL AND/OR ANTI-COUNTERFEITING CAPABILITIES

A “smart” closure system, apparatus, and method are contemplated. The closure includes mechanical capture and release mechanisms, electromechanical and/or optical indicators, wireless technologies, and/or web-based or remote authentication, verification, and serialization via remotely located data servers. A mobile computing device may further augment certain functions. The resulting system allows for anti-counterfeiting, authentication, serialization, and other capabilities.
