A flip-top dispensing closure is provided and comprises a base connectable to a container neck and a lid connected to the base by a hinge so as to be movable between a closed position and an open position. The closure comprises a tamper-evident drop band irreversibly moved from a first position to a second position to indicate if the lid has been opened. The lid comprises retention means for non-frangibly holding the band in the first position in an initial closed position, and as the lid is moved towards the open position the band is released from the retention means and moves to the second position.

A tamper-evident closure is provided and comprises a body and a separate plug member. The body has a sidewall including screw thread formations for screwing the closure onto a screw threaded container neck and the plug member is locatable on the neck to seal it. The closure comprises a tamper-evident member at least part of which is movable from a first position to a second position when the closure is unscrewed from the neck for the first time and, in use, when the body is unscrewed the body moves axially with respect to the plug member to cause the tamper-evident member to move from the first to the second position.

Closures

A closure includes a base and a lid, the base and lid being joined by a double hinge arrangement so that the lid is movable between a closed position and an open position. The double hinge arrangement includes a first hinge and a second hinge. The lid may be held stably in the open position via tongues or the like, which are provided on or by the lid, base, and/or hinge arrangement.

A reclosable stopper for revealing a first opening includes a base body for positioning on a container mouth (12), from which base body a pouring element extends upwardly, and a protection and closing cap integrally and hingedly connected to the base body. The base body also includes a guarantee ring connected by frangible bridges to a collar. The cap is firmly positioned on the base body for closure. A tamper-proof feature is provided between the base body having the pouring element, and the cap, for revealing a first opening, which includes a double frangible connection system which can be actuated towards the inside of the cap.

Security packaging

A security packaging (10) provides multi-layer laminate structure for providing evidence of package tampering. The packaging may include a first panel (12) having an opening (18) therein in planar contact with an insert member (16) and a film layer (20). The film layer (20) may include a pattern layer (32) that may be adhered to the film layer (20) via an adhesion layer (48). A second adhesion layer (52) may be placed onto the pattern layer (32) to adhere the pattern layer (32) to the insert member (16).
