As compared to the prior art, the container hinges about a frangible vertex instead of hinging about a square-shaped structure.

The liner includes a substrate layer, a separable layer, a foil layer, and an adhesive layer. The separable layer assists in separating the liner into two pieces.

A circular tamper-resistant container with tamper evident feature which includes a circular base and a circular lid joined by a flexible hinge having a tamper evident tab, the base and a lid are hingedly connected to each other via a hinge part with a tamper evident tab in the closed state.
