Can body and method of manufacturing thereof
Provided is a can body in which a skirt part of the cap attached to a curl part certainly wraps to fixable and pressure resistance can be improved. A cylindrical part and a mouth part connected with a neck part with a smaller diameter than the cylindrical part are provided with; the mouth part has a curl part at an outer peripheral part which is made by folding a tip outward in a radial direction to round up; and in a vertical cross section on a can axis, a concave part is formed toward a lower side in the can axis direction, between an outer peripheral-lower side bent part which is convex diagonally downward on an outer peripheral part of the curl part and a curl end part having the tip.
VIAL WITH OPTIMIZED NECK FOR IMPROVED SIDE COMPRESSION PERFORMANCE
A glass container is provided having a glass tube with a first end and a second end and a glass bottom closing the second end. The glass tube has a longitudinal axis and has, in a direction from the first to the second end, a top region, a junction region, a neck region, a shoulder region, and a body region. The top region is at the first end and has an outer diameter (d.sub.t), the neck region has an outer diameter (d.sub.n) with d.sub.n<d.sub.t, the body region extends to the second end and has an outer diameter (d.sub.b) with d.sub.b>d.sub.t, and the glass tube in the body region has a thickness (l.sub.b). The outer contour in a transition area between the top and neck regions is defined by a radius of curvature. The glass containers have a neck squeeze test load of at least 1100 N.
CONTAINER WITH APERTURED SHRINK SLEEVE AND RELATED PROCESSES
A container at least partially surrounded by a shrink sleeve, the shrink sleeve including a shrink sleeve aperture being defined by an aperture peripheral boundary having a peripheral length, where the shrink sleeve and the container are substantially the same color along at least a portion of the peripheral length. Processes for making such containers. Containers where the shrink sleeve and the container are substantially different colors along the peripheral length.
Child-resistant locking cap for laminated tubes with improved locking cap insert to reduce substance leakage after the locking cap is closed
A combination of a container made out of rolled laminated plastic or rolled laminated metal, combined with a child-resistant locking assembly between the container and a cap removably affixed to the container. The container includes a closed rear end, a front wall and a flexible sidewall between the closed rear end and the front. The cap includes a central post inserted into a dispensing opening in a dispensing nozzle of the contain to reduce the possibility of contents in the container seeping out of the dispensing nozzle after the sealing cap is affixed to the nozzle.
Fragrance dispenser refill with locking bottle
A refill for a commercial fragrance dispenser includes a bottle that is capable of irremovably locking into place within a respective fragrance distribution elements, or cage. Such a configuration may prevent inadvertent spilling of fragrance from the bottle. A lock preventer may enable the bottle to be stored within the cage while preventing full insertion of the bottle of the refill into the receptacle of the cage of the refill until assembly of the bottle with the cage and of the cage with the body of a commercial fragrance dispenser are desired. Methods for refilling fragrance dispensers, in which the bottle of a refill is locked within a cage of the refill and coupled to the cage or dispenser, are also disclosed.
Plastic container having at least a regional sharp-edged container geometry and process for producing the plastic container
A plastic container manufactured from a preform with a mass share of at least 80% polyester and possibly an additive from the group consisting of dyes, fillers, catalysers, additives and lubricative additives. The plastic container comprises a container neck and a container shoulder which connects with the container neck and merges into a container body closed by a container base. The container shoulder, the container base and the container body are exclusively reshaped by a 2-stage stretch blow moulding method. The polyester is a copolyester and comprises groups which originate from the monomers cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) and/or monoethylene glycol (MEG), terephthalic acid (TPA) or its derivatives and isophthalic acid (IPA) or its derivatives. At least a part-region of the container body and/or of the container shoulder comprises a sharp edge with a radius of less than 0.5 mm. A method of manufacturing the plastic container is also described.
SYNTHETIC RESIN CONTAINER AND PREFORM
A synthetic resin container and a preform that can suppress increase in size of a mouth and can improve stability when a mouth is transferred by being gripped by a gripper. A synthetic resin container includes a tubular mouth and forms an accommodation space for contents. An outer circumferential surface of the mouth is provided with a gripper engaging groove to be engaged with a gripper of a transfer apparatus, the gripper engaging groove is formed such that a width of the groove of an opening opened in the outer circumferential surface of the mouth is decreased from an opening toward a bottom of the groove, and the gripper engaging groove corresponds to a shape of the gripper and has an upper side inclination and a lower side inclination respectively obliquely extending with respect to a plane perpendicular to an axis of the mouth.
GLASS CONTAINER WITH AN IMPROVED BOTTOM GEOMETRY
A glass container for packaging a pharmaceutical composition including a glass tube with a first end and a second end, the glass tube having a wall thickness d.sub.w, a glass bottom having an outer area, and the glass bottom closes the glass tube at the first end. The glass container further including a curved glass heel extending from the outer area of the glass bottom to the first end of the glass tube. The curved glass heel is defined by an outer radius r.sub.o, an inner radius r.sub.i and a thickness of the glass d.sub.h in the curved glass heel, further wherein d.sub.h.sup.3/(r.sub.od.sub.w)>0.8 mm.
Liquid container having double cap
A liquid container includes a container body including an inner space formed to accommodate a liquid therein and an opening formed at a top thereof to allow the liquid to flow into the inner space, an outer cap including a liquid port fastened to the opening and connected to the inner space, an inner cap inserted into the liquid port and fastened to the outer cap to open and close the liquid port to selectively connect the inner space to an outside, and a stopper fastened to the inner cap, protruding in an outward-radial direction to be held by a bottom end of the outer cap to limit a movement distance of the inner cap, and formed of an elastic material to allow the inner cap to be separable from the outer cap by a certain external force applied to the inner cap.
Liquid container having single cap
A liquid container includes a container body including an inner space accommodating a liquid formed therein, a liquid port formed at a top thereof to allow the liquid to flow into/out of the inner space, and a holding protrusion which protrudes toward an inside and is formed on an inner circumferential surface thereof, a cap inserted into the liquid port and then coupled with the container body, and a stopper coupled with the cap, disposed to be spaced apart from a bottom surface of the cap, configured to protrude in an outward-radial direction and to be held by the holding protrusion to limit a movement distance of the cap when the cap moves upward, and formed of an elastic material to allow the cap to be separable from the container body by a certain external force applied to the cap.
