FOOD-STORAGE CONTAINER
A food-storage container includes a container body defining a storage area and a rim. A removable lid is connectable to the rim to seal the storage area. The lid defines a vent hole. A latch assembly of the container has a latch and a vent flap. The latch is pivotally attached to the lid and is configured to engage with the container body to secure the lid to the rim when in a latched position. The vent flap is pivotal relative to the latch between an open position in which the flap is spaced from the vent hole and a sealing position in which the flap seals the vent hole.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED CONTAINER STORAGE SYSTEM
A temperature controlled container storage system includes a cabinet. A sealed system is operable to chill or warm one or more of a plurality of receptacles within the cabinet. A latch is operable to lock a door on the cabinet in a closed position. A plurality of collapsible containers is shaped such that each container of the plurality of collapsible containers is complementary to and receivable within a respective one of the plurality of receptacles. A height of each container of the plurality of collapsible containers in an unfolded configuration is greater than the height of each container of the plurality of collapsible containers in a collapsed configuration.
A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF AND A FOIL FOR ENCLOSING OR WRAPPING A PRODUCT TO BE HEATED IN AN OVEN
A method of manufacturing a foil for enclosing or wrapping a product configured to be heated in an oven includes: providing an aluminium layer, applying a first ink material at a surface of the aluminium layer to form a first ink layer, and applying a second ink material at a surface of the first ink layer to form a second ink layer. The first ink layer is positioned between the aluminium layer and the second ink layer, and is configured to absorb radiant energy. The second ink layer is configured to allow radiant energy to pass through to reach the first ink layer. A binder system of the first ink material or the second ink material is based at least in part on polyvinyl butyral (PVB).
MEALS PACKAGED FOR COOKING IN COOKING APPARATUS WITH INDIVIDUALLY CONTROLLABLE COOKING ZONES
A meal kit and a method of using the meal kit are presented. The meal kit includes a liner for a network-connected cooking apparatus, the liner having multiple segmented areas, each segmented area containing a food product. The liner also includes a machine-readable code disposed on the liner that is utilized to access information relating to cooking temperature and cooking time for each segment. The liner is configured to be placed into a cooking apparatus and align with different individually controllable cooking zones in the cooking apparatus.
VAPORIZABLE SUBSTANCE STORAGE DEVICE
A device for storing oil or another vaporizable substance can include a porous body adapted to absorb a volume of liquid and to retain the volume of liquid for vaporization. A porous body can include a matrix of pores adapted to take up and retain oil by capillary action. A method of vaporizing oil can include storing the oil in a porous body and heating the body.
Compostable High-Temperature-Resistant Food Tray Liners and Materials
A compostable, high-temperature-resistant liner for use in cooking applications, comprising a plant-based fiber matrix incorporating one or more food-safe, heat-resistant components.
The material may include, but is not limited to, sugarcane bagasse, bamboo, hemp, or similar natural fibers, and may further include heat-resistant additives such as plant-derived waxes, mineral substances including kaolin clay, or comparable compounds.
The liner is suitable for use at temperatures exceeding 500 F. and may be provided as a flat sheet or as a molded insert with raised edges to fit standard broiler or oven trays.
HEAT PRESERVATION APPLIANCE
The disclosure discloses a heat preservation appliance, including: a box body provided with a first inner container; a cover body including an inner cover and an outer cover, wherein the inner cover covers the first inner container, the inner cover is provided with a check valve, the outer cover is connected to the box body, the outer cover is provided with an avoidance hole, and the avoidance hole is arranged corresponding to the check valve; and an evacuating device connected to the check valve through the avoidance hole, wherein the evacuating device extracts air in the first inner container through the check valve.
