CONTAINER ASSEMBLY
Disclosed is a container assembly. The container assembly includes an intermodal container and an insulating structure. The insulating structure includes an aerogel. The insulating structure is removably secured to an interior of the intermodal container, and the insulating structure includes an interior for receiving goods.
Temperature-controlled transport container and a method for controlling conditions in such container
A temperature-controlled transport container (10) has a cargo space (1) for accommodating temperature-sensitive goods and a refrigeration system. The refrigeration system comprises a closed air circuit (2), separate from the cargo space and located outside of and contiguous with at least one wall (9) of the cargo space. The refrigeration system further comprises at least one refrigeration unit (5) configured to cool air in the closed air circuit. The refrigeration system also comprises a pressurizing unit (8) for establishing a pressure difference between the closed air circuit and the ambient environment (20) outside of, but in a vicinity of, the temperature-controlled transport container.
MOBILE GLYCOL HEATER FOR ISO TANK CONTAINER HEATING
A mobile heating system for heating a fluid (e.g., glycol) and circulating the heated fluid through one or more ISO containers. In an embodiment, the mobile heating system includes a first heating loop that utilizes steam to heat the fluid. In another embodiment, the mobile heating system includes a second heating loop that uses electrical power to heat the fluid.
Shipping system for temperature-sensitive materials
Shipping system for temperature-sensitive materials. In one embodiment, the shipping system includes a frame defining an enclosure. The frame includes a bottom, a top, a front, a rear, a left side, a right side, a left corner gusset, and a right corner gusset. The front serves as a door. Thermal breaks are provided in one or more of the bottom, the front, the left corner gusset, and the right corner gusset. Vacuum insulated panels are positioned along all sides of the frame. Many of the vacuum insulated panels are encapsulated between the frame and an outer shell. A plurality of phase-change material assemblies are positioned within the frame along all sides. Heat-spreaders are positioned interior to the phase-change material assemblies. The shipping system are dimensioned so that four such shipping systems are seated on a prorate manual cargo sheet.
Method and system for monitoring weight/orientation of a self-contained climate controlled storage unit and adjusting operation based on the monitored weight/orientation
An electrically powered portable self-contained climate controlled storage unit that is self-weighing and/or measures its orientation. The storage unit includes a base including an enclosure and at least one foot for supporting the self-contained climate controlled storage unit, a climate controlled space affixed above the base, and a climate control system for providing climate control to the climate controlled space. The climate control system is provided in the enclosure. The storage unit further includes at least one sensor for measuring a weight and/or orientation associated with the self-contained climate controlled storage unit and a system controller connected to the self-contained climate controlled storage unit. The system controller is configured to determine an unsafe operating condition of the self-contained climate controlled storage unit based on the weight and/or orientation associated with the self-contained climate controlled storage unit measured by the sensor.
ETHYLENE AIR SCRUBBER FOR CARGO CONTAINERS AND CARGO CONTAINERS INCLUDING THE SAME
An air scrubber includes a tray and a cover screen. The tray has walls that define a perimeter of the tray. The tray also includes tabs that extend upward from opposite walls of the tray with each tab configured to engage a sidewall of a thermal protection module to mount the tray thereto. The cover screen is received within the perimeter of the tray and includes a base and raised elements that extend upward from the base. Each raised element defines a cavity with the base that is configured to retain a reactive material therewithin. The cover screen is configured to retain the reactive material while allowing air to pass through the reactive material such that the reactive material reduces undesirable compounds in the air.
