Wireless switching for container controller
Methods and systems for wireless switching are provided. Aspects include receiving, by a transceiver, a first activation signal from an activation device, responsive to receiving the first activation signal, transmitting, by the transceiver, network credentialing data to the activation device, receiving, by a first controller of a first device, a second activation signal from the activation device, the second activation signal comprising an activation request and the network credentialing data, responsive to receiving the second activation signal, transitioning the first device from a low power state to a high power state, and broadcasting, by the first device, a wireless network, wherein the first device comprises an access point for the wireless network.
Systems and methods for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly
Systems and methods are described for securely monitoring a shipping container for an environmental anomaly using elements of a wireless node network of sensor-based ID nodes disposed within the container and a command node associated with the container. The method has the command node identifying which of the ID nodes are confirmed as trusted sensors based upon a security credential specific to each of the ID nodes; monitoring only the confirmed ID nodes for sensor data broadcast those ID nodes; detecting the anomaly based upon the sensor data from at least one of the confirmed ID nodes; automatically generating an alert notification related to the detected environmental anomaly for the shipping container; and transmitting the alert notification to the external transceiver to initiate a mediation response related to the detected environmental anomaly.
BRACKET FOR MOUNTING AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE TO A SHIPPING CONTAINER
A bracket for affixing a device to a shipping container, the bracket having a base; a first arm and a second arm disposed on distal ends of the base; a first flange and second flange extending from the first arm and the second arm; a first affixing mechanism and a second affixing mechanism to affix the first flange and the second flange respectively to adjacent locking rods on the shipping container, said first affixing mechanism and second affixing mechanism allowing rotation of the locking rods; and a mounting mechanism on the base for mounting the device, wherein the base is configured to fit within a corrugation behind the adjacent locking rods, and at least one portion of the base is configured to contact the shipping container when the first flange and the second flange are behind the adjacent locking rods.

Powder transport container
A container (300) adapted to store a quantity of metal powder (101, 301), the container (300) comprising a container body having an opening and a sensing device (111, 121) for sensing the temperature of the powder (101, 301) and/or the humidity level inside the container (300), wherein a first reading received from the sensing device (111, 121) is compared to a second reading received from a second sensing device configured to sense the temperature and/or humidity level of an environment outside of the container, and based on the first reading and the second reading, a user is provided within an indication about whether the container can be opened.
ARRANGEMENT FOR RELEASABLY SECURING CONTAINERS
An arrangement and method for releasably securing a plurality of standard-sized containers together, the arrangement comprising at least two planar securing elements comprising an aperture and at least two extension elements emerging from a surface of the planar securing element, each extension element configured to be attachable to at least one container; a first elongated securing element extending across at least two adjacent containers; wherein a first planar securing element is configured to attach to a first container using at least one extension element of the first planar securing element, and a second planar securing element is configured to attach to a second container using at least one extension element of the second planar securing element, and the elongated securing element extending through apertures of the first and the second planar securing element and tightenably engaged to the first and the second planar securing element.
DEPLOYABLE WINGSAIL FOR CONTAINER SHIPS
A shipping container includes a container configured to be secured onto a vessel or a vehicle. The shipping container further includes at least one wingsail stored in the container and configured to be unfolded to deploy from the container and folded to be stowed in the container,
TRANSPORT OF POWDERS
A powder container (10) comprising a pressure vessel (12) for containing a quantity of powder (14) and a quantity of pressurised gas (32), an outlet through which, in use, the powder (14) can flow out of the pressure vessel (12), and an outlet valve (24) for selectively opening and closing the outlet, wherein the container (10) further comprises a data sensing and/or logging means (56, 58, 60, 62, 64) adapted to monitor and/or log various parameters of the powder (14) and/or the pressurised gas (32) and further comprising a control unit (54) adapted record and log the sensor readings either continuously, or at intervals, the control unit (54) comprising a communications module adapted to relay sensor readings, or log files, to a remote monitoring station.
