Embodiments of the present disclosure include an apparatus to support a proppant container including a frame to receive and support the proppant container, the frame having a top surface that receives and positions the proppant container above a conveyor to carry proppant disposed thereon away from the proppant container. The apparatus also includes a box guide assembly positioned on the top surface including a corner assembly having two wall segments, and a guide member extending upwardly and positioned adjacent the corner assembly, the guide member including tapered portion of the guide member, the taper having a first width at a top portion of the guide member smaller than a second width at a bottom portion of the guide member. The tapered portion contacts and directs the proppant container to a desired location.

Baffled fluid tank with stairway access

A tank for transporting fluids on a truck chassis includes a front wall, side walls, a back wall, a top, and a floor. Interior stairs extend from the floor to an opening in the top to allow stair access into the interior with integrated safety handrails on the fill port cover. Stair toe kicks act as internal transverse baffles to help control fluid motion and surging. The stairs also act as a structural stiffener between longitudinal baffles. Horizontal baffles assist in controlling fluid motion and surging. Formed baffles provide strength and stiffness. A baffle interlocking system improves joint integrity and aids manufacturing. Formed outer skins provide structural strength for the tank. Ports located in front and rear bulkheads may be used for tank ventilation or, depending on local safety codes, as secondary access points. Doors or other access openings may be located in the tank bulkheads to provide better interior access.

IMPROVED WET PLANT FOR A SAND MINE
20200223346 · 2020-07-16 ·

A wet sand delivery and conveyor apparatus ships wet proppant from a sand mine wet plant to a well fracturing site and delivers the wet proppant directly to the well site. The wet sand delivery and conveyor apparatus comprises a multi-container support frame, which is mounted on a trailer bed, a plurality of containers mounted to an upper portion of the frame, and a conveyor belt mounted on the frame below the plurality of containers and positioned to receive proppant released in a gravity pour from the containers onto the conveyor belt. An auger mounted near an end of the conveyor belt is also provided to transfer sand from the end of the trailer bed to a position extending diagonally upward and away from the trailer bed to drop sand into a vessel or sand deposit site positioned underneath an upper end portion of the auger.

Bin level indicator
10557740 · 2020-02-11 · ·

A bulk material storage bin has an upright wall supporting a plurality of vertically spaced indicators providing a person with visual information regarding the level of the bulk material in the bin. The indicators have bright color and dark color surfaces that are selectively displayed to provide a person with information of the level of bulk material in the bin. An actuator located in the bin cooperates with a motion transmission apparatus to move visual members to an ON position displaying the bright color when the bulk material engages the actuator and to an OFF position displaying the dark color when the actuator is free of bulk material. The motion transmission apparatus includes a rod movably retained on an O-ring held on a mount device secured to the side wall of the bin. A yoke supporting an endless flexible member mounted on the rod is connected to the visual members whereby movement of the rod moves the visual members between the ON and OFF positions.

TRANSPORT CONTAINER FOR INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINERS WITH DANGEROUS GOODS
20200039739 · 2020-02-06 ·

A transport container (vehicle) used to transport, lift, and transfer approved IBCs containing dangerous goods (including liquids) in Open Seas environments. The transport container meets all criteria specified by DNV-GL for certification of offshore containers intended for transport of approved IBCs for dangerous goods in Open Seas and has been certified by DNV-GL as such. It also provides a (solid) full enclosure of the IBC which provides protection an all sides, top and bottom. An offset hinge, rolling, or retractable, top lid provides a top opening for vertical loading of the IBC, while also providing complete protection of the top, when closed. A hinged door panel provides for front protection while allowing for lateral loading of the IBC. The transport container also incorporates guidance features to ensure the IBC is properly positioned inside the container when loading, and a catch well to contain drips or accidental spillage.

MULTI-PRB OPERATION FOR NARROWBAND SYSTEMS

Aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for multiple physical resource block (PRB) operations for narrowband (NB) systems, such as NB internet-of-things (IoT). In one aspect, a method is provided which may be performed by a wireless device such as a user equipment (UE), which may be an NB-IoT device. The method generally includes performing a cell search based on one or more signals received in an anchor RB within a set of RBs available for narrowband communications with a base station (BS); determining a location of at least one additional RB available for the narrowband communications with the BS based on an indication received in the anchor RB; and performing narrowband communications with the BS using at least one of: the anchor RB or the at least one additional resource block.

Intermodal tank transport system, components, and methods

An intermodal tank container and complementary chassis, and features and methods for use thereof, are disclosed. The intermodal tank container and chassis has an appearance and length substantially similar to a non-intermodal OTR tank trailer, while affording the same capacity as an intermodal tank container. The design of the tank container allows for an improved, lighter design for the chassis and for improved usability of the tank container in intermodal environments such as with rail cars. The reduced weight of the chassis allows for a greater payload while remaining within various applicable legal restrictions for gross vehicle weight, axle weight, etc.
