The molded container includes a tank portion, several leg supports, several buttresses, and several horizontally extending ribs. The tank portion includes several curved sidewalls and a fill opening. The leg supports include lower and upper sections that extend above the fill opening for spacing a pallet stacked on top of the molded container above the fill opening. The upper sections include pallet engaging structure for engaging pallets of at least two different types. The horizontally extending ribs minimize outward deflection due to hydrostatic loading and/or pressurization. The connection systems include washers that allow for shrinkage and expansion between the molded container and the pallet in a number of directions.

LIGHTWEIGHT METALLIC SHIPPING CONTAINER WITH METALLIC CELLULAR FLOOR OF HETEROGENEOUS CELL WALL THICKNESSES

A lightweight shipping container includes two parallel side walls each having a top rail and secured on the opposite side to bottom rails of a floor frame, coupled to one another by a floor, secured to a multiplicity of cross-beam members. A front end assembly is secured to one end of the top and bottom side rails and a door end assembly opposite the front end assembly is secured to an opposite end of the top and bottom side rails. The container further includes a roof secured to respective ones of the top rails of each of the two side walls. The floor includes a metallic cellular panel including a metallic cellular core of multiple polygonal cells, each including opposing horizontal walls coupled to one another at each distal end by at least one perpendicularly intersecting wall of half thickness as that of the opposing horizontal walls.

SPECIALTY INTERMODAL CONTAINER HAVING A ROLL COVER ROOF, METHOD OF USE AND MANUFACTURE

An intermodal container includes first and second ends, joined by first and second sides in a generally rectangular configuration. A generally continuous floor cooperates with the first and second ends and the first and second sides to form an open top container. A plurality of roof overhangs extend adjacent a top of the open top container, generally parallel to the floor. The intermodal container includes a roll cover having a first position in which the open top container is substantially open to the ambient environment to allow for loading from above the first and second sides and first and second ends of the open top container. The roll cover has a second position in which the open top container is substantially closed to the ambient environment to prevent any contents of the open top container to be ejected from the open top container during transport. A plurality of top reinforcement rails are disposed adjacent upper portions of the first and second sides, and extends from the first side to the second side.

SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS OF COIL AND ROD CONSTRUCTION COMPRISING MECHANISMS SUCH AS THE COIL JOINT, COIL BODY AND COIL JOINT SPINE
