A cage for containing a small animal includes various features adapted to provide a means of cleaning the cage that is fast, easy, and clean, without disassembling, tipping, tilting, or lifting the cage. A panel defining a portion of a cage floor or wall element, or a combination thereof, can be transitioned by a user from a closed state to an open state to reveal an opening, allowing soiled materials to be neatly swept through the opening and directly into a receptacle placed below a portion of the cage containing the opening. A control element coupled to the panel may be provided to allow the user to transition the panel between the closed and open states with minimal manipulation of the cage itself.

The stowage container comprises a housing structure, a first stowage segment accommodated in the housing structure, and an access opening for manually loading and unloading of the first stowage segment. The housing structure comprises an outer contour, which is configured to place the stowage container in a cargo area of an aircraft. The housing structure is accessible via the access opening from a cabin area above the cargo area, in which the stowage container can be placed. A second stowage segment is arranged within the housing structure and an access opening is provided for manual loading and unloading of the second stowage segment. Further, the first or the second stowage segment is designed as a waste container for placement of trash and the other stowage segment is designed as stowage compartment.

The autonomous waste bin may include a first and second driving wheels connected to a base of a hollow receptacle. The autonomous waste bin may include a first and second driving motor connected to the first and second driving wheels respectively, the first and second driving motor configured to provide a driving force to the first and second driving wheels. The autonomous waste bin may include at least one controller in communication with the first and second driving motors, the at least one controller configured to control the movement of the autonomous waste bin, via the first and second driving wheels.
