A removable device for collecting, storing and transporting fermentable waste comprises, in a direction of flow of the fermentable waste, a feed device for supplying fermentable waste; a hopper for conveying the fermentable waste from the feed device to the grinder; a grinder arranged to grind the fermentable waste and form ground materials; a transfer device for transferring the ground materials to the storage tank; a storage tank for storing the ground materials; a device for emptying the storage tank; and an effluent filtering device connected to the storage tank. The transfer device is under positive pressure in the direction of flow of the fermentable waste, and the effluent filtering device is a solid filtering medium, preferably a carbon filter or a biofilter. The device further comprises a pressure relief valve.

A cleaning attachment for a utility bucket is disclosed. The cleaning attachment can be used to sweep debris into the utility bucket. In one non-limiting example, among others, the cleaning attachment includes a ramp, a back platform, a rim engagement slot, and a retractable tab. The ramp includes a first end and a second end, and the second end having a greater height than the first end. The rim engagement slot engages a rim of a utility bucket. The rim engagement slot is formed between a front wall of the second end of the ramp and the back platform. The retractable tab extends from a back wall of the back platform. The retractable tab formed between two slots, and the retractable tab moves toward and away from the back wall for attaching and releasing the utility bucket.

A cleaning attachment for a utility bucket is disclosed. The cleaning attachment can be used to sweep debris into the utility bucket. A removable device for collecting, storing and transporting fermentable waste, comprising: a device for supplying fermentable waste; a hopper; a grinder designed for grinding fermentable waste and forming ground material; a device for transferring the ground material; an airtight storage tank designed to store the ground material anaerobically under a controlled atmosphere; a device for emptying the tank, designed to empty the storage tank; the hopper being designed to convey the fermentable waste from the supply device to the grinder, the transfer device being designed to transfer the ground material from the grinder to the storage tank, the device further comprising a device for filtering effluents, connected to the storage tank, the device further comprising a pressure reducer disposed between the storage tank and the filtration device.

A removable device for collecting, storing and transporting fermentable waste, comprising: a device for supplying fermentable waste; a hopper; a grinder designed for grinding fermentable waste and forming ground material; a device for transferring the ground material; an airtight storage tank designed to store the ground material anaerobically under a controlled atmosphere; a device for emptying the tank, designed to empty the storage tank; the hopper being designed to convey the fermentable waste from the supply device to the grinder, the transfer device being designed to transfer the ground material from the grinder to the storage tank, the device further comprising a device for filtering effluents, connected to the storage tank, the device further comprising a pressure reducer disposed between the storage tank and the filtration device.

A vacuuming refuse container assembly includes a refuse container for receiving refuse for disposal. A lid is removably positioned on the refuse container and the lid has a refuse opening extending therethrough to receive the refuse. A control circuit is coupled to the refuse container and a vacuum unit is positioned within the refuse container. The vacuum unit is electrically coupled to the control circuit and the vacuum unit is in fluid communication with the refuse opening in the lid. The vacuum unit urges air inwardly through the refuse opening when the vacuum unit is turned on. Thus, refuse placed in the refuse opening is drawn downwardly into the refuse container. A motion sensor is coupled to the refuse container. The vacuum unit is turned on when the motion sensor senses motion of the refuse being placed in the refuse opening.

An apparatus for transporting objects from a first compartment to a second compartment, where a movable valve element gates off the first compartment from the second compartment. The device includes a transfer element operable with the valve element to prevent the valve element from opening when the transfer element is not engaging the first compartment and to prevent articles and particulates, fluids, gases, odors, and matter from the second compartment from entering the first compartment when the valve element is open. A method for transferring articles into a container is also provided.

Garbage disposal apparatus (100) for receiving trays 600 comprises a tray receiving means (200), a tray manipulating means (300), a receptacle for garbage disposal (400) and a tray storing means (500), assembled in a way that when garbage disposal apparatus (100) is in operation, the tray receiving means (200) receives a tray (110) which is transported to the tray manipulating means (300) which removes garbage from the tray (110) in the receptacle for garbage disposal (400) and afterwards the tray (110) is stored in the tray storing means (500). Here is disclosed a garbage disposal system (800) which comprises at least one garbage disposal apparatus (100) as described, at least one horizontal tunnel (810), at least one vertical tunnel (820) and at least one tray collecting means (830), arranged so that tray collecting means (830) travels within the horizontal tunnel (810) and is collecting trays (110) from the garbage disposal apparatus (100).

An ash bucket including a container including a closable top opening and a side wall; a side opening disposed on the side wall; and a side cover configured to be hinged at a minimum height at a level of a top edge of the side opening, wherein the side cover is configured to be selectively covering the side opening, wherein upon disposal of a material through the side opening in the container, the side opening is closed with the side cover which suppresses airborne particles of the material to keep as much of the material within the container.
