METHOD FOR HANDLING MATERIAL IN A MATERIAL CONVEYING SYSTEM, A SEPARATING DEVICE ARRANGEMENT AND A MATERIAL CONVEYING SYSTEM
A method for handling material and conveying air in a pneumatic conveying system for material, which conveying system comprises at least one input point (1) for material, a material conveying pipe (100), which is connectable to an input point (1), and at least two separating devices (10A, 10B), in which the material being conveyed is separated from the conveying air, and also means for bringing about a pressure difference and/or a transporting air flow in the conveying pipe (100) at least during the conveyance of material, which means comprise at least one partial-vacuum source (21). In the method, material is conveyed in a transporting air flow in a material conveying pipe from an input point in a selected manner into one of at least two separating devices (10A, 10B), and that at least one of the aforementioned separating devices (10A, 10B) is configured to function as the standby separating device of a second separating device. The object of the invention is also a separating device arrangement and a waste conveying system.

A compost collection device including: a waste collection bin; and a removable lid for the bin, the lid including: a first seal disposed for circumferentially sealing between the lid and a top rim of the bin; a circular opening in the lid; a rotatable sphere have a waste material pocket therein, the sphere being disposed in the lid; a second seal disposed between the sphere and the opening in the lid, for circumferentially sealing between the sphere and the opening in the lid; a handle attached to the sphere for rotating the rotatable sphere to deposit waste materials into the bin; a retaining lid having an opening therein for depositing waste materials into the pocket in the sphere; and a third seal disposed between the retaining lid and the sphere adjacent the opening in the retaining lid, for sealing between the sphere and the opening in the retaining lid.

Apparatus for processing material, and waste container/separating device
An apparatus for processing material in connection with a pneumatic material conveying system includes a waste container/separating device, into which material is configured to be conducted from a conveying pipe of the pneumatic material conveying system via an inlet aperture and which is configured to be connected to a partial vacuum generator. The apparatus further includes a press device/compactor device, which is arranged to act on the material (w) conducted into the waste container/separating device, via at least one aperture formed in the container, and that at least one wall that is transverse with respect to the input direction of the material is arranged in the container space of the waste container/separating device, which wall is configured to guide the material into the operating range in the container space of the compressor of the press device/compactor device.
SELF-CONTAINED AUTOMATIC TWO STAGE HYDRAULIC CART LIFTING SYSTEM
A self-contained electro-hydraulic system for trash collection is provided. The system comprises boxlike steel trash collection bin and a hydraulically activated trash cart lifter mounted on an outward-facing front surface of the bin. The system also comprises a control unit mounted on a side surface of the bin comprising a 12-volt battery, an electric motor, a rotator, and a two-stage hydraulic pump. The system hydraulically causes the lifter to grasp a trash cart positioned proximate the gripper. The system also changes, based on hydraulic pressure measurements, a stage of the pump from a first stage of about 5 gallons per minute to a second stage of about 1-2 gallons per minute. The system also lifts and tilts the cart based on the change in stage, enabling contents of the cart to fall. Power for the pump and lifting of the cart is supplied entirely by the 12-volt battery.

ENCLOSURE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WASTE PRODUCT, CHEMICAL DEGRADATION PROCESS OF WASTE PRODUCT, AND CHAIN-OF-CUSTODY AUDIT TRAIL
A secured “smart” container is disclosed for collecting green waste products including operational functions for collection, video surveillance and monitoring capacity. The secured “smart” container may include one or more programmable logic controllers. Operational functions are performed by electrical components including sensors to determine green waste deposits characteristics and contents. Operational functions are further adapted to send and receive data, operationally wirelessly, and configured and adapted to utilize solar derived electric power and, optionally, electric power from other sources. Embodiments provide constant 24 hour/7 days a week video surveillance and alert monitoring capabilities. Disclosed systems and methods also include collection and transportation of waste contents from the container to a processing subsystem. Additionally, disclosed systems may also include a monitoring system for monitoring the collection of green waste product, delivery of the same to the processing subsystem and tracking to and throughout final processing of the green waste product and handling personnel.
