DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SECURING BAGS WITHIN A CONTAINER
A securing device for securing trash bags within a trash receptacle includes a belt member for securing a trash bag within a trash receptacle; and at least one resilient member coupled to the belt member at a first end of the at least one resilient member and operably configured to couple to an inner wall of the trash receptacle at a second end of the at least one resilient member, the at least one resilient member further operably configured to apply a biasing force against the inner wall of the trash receptacle to clamp the trash bag, without any other external forces, against the inner wall between the belt member and the inner wall.

Manually Operated Trash Compactor for Airplane Lavatory and Method for Compacting Trash
An example lavatory waste compartment includes a waste bin having a waste compartment for trash, a waste flap providing an opening into the waste compartment for insertion of the trash, and a manually operated trash compactor coupled to a ceiling. The manually operated trash compactor includes an expansion component connected to a compacting head, and a retraction component coupled to the expansion component to hold or retract the expansion component to a stowed position. An increase in temperature above a threshold temperature causes the retraction component to release the expansion component resulting in deployment of the compacting head into the waste bin. An actuation device is provided to deploy the expansion component from the stowed position, and when deployed, the expansion component blocks opening of the waste flap, and the retraction component causes the expansion component to retract to the stowed position via release of the actuation device.
EASY TO REMOVE BAG
A foldable stand includes four panels attached flexibly at lateral edges such that the panels can be folded in a closed configuration flat upon each other or folded into an open configuration to form a self-supporting free-standing stand.
DUST AND ALLERGEN CONTROL FOR SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
A surface cleaning apparatus comprises an air flow path extending from a dirty air inlet to a clean air outlet with an air treatment member positioned in the air flow path. The air treatment member comprises a dirt collection region which has an openable door. A pre-motor filter is positioned downstream of the chamber and upstream of the suction motor and a suction motor is provided in the air flow path downstream of the chamber. The air flow path comprises a downstream portion extending from the pre-motor filter to the suction motor, and, during an emptying mode of operation, the openable door is opened and the downstream portion of the air flow path is closed.

Trash Tender
Waste basket basketball hoops are common and are enjoyed by many people, young and old. Waste basket basketball hoops can make cleaning up a fun activity. However, waste basket basketball hoops are usually affixed separately to the wall and not affixed to the waste basket. Further, there is no device that mimics other sport goals.
This device allows sports fans to use a waste basket sports goal for a sport other than basketball. This device is affixed directly to the waste basket.

COLLAPSIBLE CONTAINER SYSTEM AND METHOD OF USE
A collapsible container which can be used for a number of purposes. The container can be deployed as a fire pit, as a trash bin, as a planter, or for many other purposes generally suited to containers. The primary function of the invention is to be selectively deployable and collapsible such that it can be taken inside to avoid inclement weather and general deterioration from being stored outdoors. The container is formed from several interlocking pieces or “petals” which fan out from a stored orientation into a deployed orientation forming a container having a container wall surrounding a container base. A central plate can be placed atop the container base to further secure the container in the deployed orientation.
NOISE-QUIETING COVER FOR WHEELS OF HAND-PORTABLE CONTAINERS
A noise-quieting cover reduces the noise caused by rolling a container with wheels made of plastic or other hard material across a surface. The noise-quieting cover further dampens the vibrations caused by rolling the container across a surface, making transportation of the container more comfortable. The noise-quieting cover has a tread with a thickness to effectively dampen noise and vibration. The cover also has sidewalls with areas large enough to keep the cover in place over the wheel. Grip tabs may also be included which may assist the user in stretching the cover over a wheel, assist in making small adjustments to perfectly place the cover over a wheel, and assist in removing the cover from the wheel.
