Mandibular advancement device and procedure for the realization of such device
A device for mandibular advancement, including a tube and a telescopic rod associated with the tube, in which the tube and the telescopic rod can be associated to the teeth of the upper and lower arches, in which the telescopic rod includes a threaded pin which engages a female thread of a hollow element slidably positioned in said tube, and the hollow element includes a maneuvering portion external to the tube; the device includes a friction element, arranged between the inner walls of the maneuvering portion and the thread of the pin and having an outer surface which is complementary to the inner walls of said maneuvering portion and a threaded internal cavity which copies the thread of the pin.
Multi-material aligners
An orthodontic appliance may include an outer shell having a plurality of cavities shaped to receive the patient's teeth and generate one or more of a force or a torque in response to the appliance being worn on the patient's teeth. The orthodontic appliance may also include an inner structure having a stiffness different than a stiffness of the outer shell. The inner structure can be positioned on an inner surface of the outer shell in order to distribute the one or more of a force or a torque to at least one tooth received within the plurality of cavities.

VIBRATIONAL ORAL APPLIANCE WITH MANDIBULAR ADVANCEMENTS
Described herein is an oral appliance. The oral appliance includes upper and lower trays that each include at least one axial spring configured to contact a palatal/lingual surface of at least one tooth, where each axial spring is coupled to the respective upper or lower tray, and where each axial spring is configured to produce and transmit intermittent, cyclic forces to the palatal/lingual surface of the tooth to promote palatal and upper/lower jaw development. The upper and lower trays each include an expansion mechanism to enable adjustment of the size of the upper and lower trays to account for palatal expansion and upper and lower jaw development. The oral appliance includes first and second adjustable hinge arms that are removably connected to the upper and lower trays so that the oral appliance advances the mandible to provide temporary relief from sleep disordered breathing, sleep apnea and/or snoring.

Dental appliance with cosmetic therapeutic aqueous solution
A system includes a dental appliance having a polymeric shell with a plurality of cavities for receiving one or more teeth; and a biocompatible cosmetic aqueous liquid in the cavities of the polymeric shell of the dental appliance. The aqueous liquid includes a viscosity modifier chosen from a water compatible polymer, a polysaccharide, a silica compound, and mixtures and combinations thereof, a tooth re-mineralizing agent, and water. The aqueous liquid is substantially free of tooth whitening agents and fluoride, and has a refractive index of greater than 1.3 at room temperature.
