HANDS FREE STORAGE RECEPTACLE
A storage receptacle can include a storage bin and a pedal mounted to the receptacle as well as a hopper. A method of using the storage receptacle can include receiving a force on a hopper handle of a hopper of a storage receptacle, the hopper having a cable connection point connected to a cable, based on the force, rotating the hopper to enable a user to place material in a storage bin of the storage receptacle, wherein the rotating causes the cable to have slack and preventing the cable having the slack from coming out of a groove in a pulley via a shroud positioned over at least a portion of the pulley.
INCENTIVIZED MULTI-STREAM RECYCLING SYSTEM WITH FILL LEVEL, VOLUME, WEIGHT, COUNTERS, SHREDDER, COMPACTOR, CONSUMER IDENTIFICATION, DISPLAY AND LIQUID DRAINAGE SYSTEM
An embodiment relates to a trash collection device comprising a trash receptacle with a unique identification and an opening to receive a class of trash; an identification scanner for recognizing a user; a trash item counter; a fill level sensor; a display configured to interact with the user; a compactor; a solar panel configured to charge a battery; a data communicator configured to communicate date to a cloud storage; a processor configured to generate incentive for the user; wherein the trash collection device is configured to be modular and configurable to connect with another similar trash collection device to enable to collect additional trash class and is configured to interact with each other through a common software. The device, method and system are further used to generate recycling analytics by using the stored data to provide incentives to users and to facilitate planning of downstream operations.
METHOD, CONTROL DEVICE, AND SYSTEM
A method executed by a control device includes: acquiring odor information indicating an odor intensity of each of a plurality of garbage collection sites, the odor intensity being detected by an odor sensor; determining an order in which garbage is collected from each of the garbage collection sites based on the odor information; and causing a garbage collection device to sequentially collect the garbage from each of the garbage collection sites according to the order.
APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING ORGANIC MATTER HAVING LID AND AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM PROMOTING PLEASANT USER EXPERIENCE
Embodiments disclosed herein provide an organic matter processing apparatus and method for the use thereof to convert organic matter into a ground and desiccated product. The organic matter processing apparatus includes a lid assembly that is positioned at the top or head of the processing apparatus and an air treatment system. The lid assembly is operative to open to allow a user to deposit organic matter into the processing apparatus or to remove a removable bucket contained therein. The lid assembly is operative to close and provide an odor containing seal that prevents or substantially mitigates escape of odor. The air treatment system uniformly distributes untreated air through an air treatment chamber to convert the untreated air to treated air, which is exhausted out of the processing apparatus.
LOCK ASSEMBLIES FOR A CONTAINER
A cart includes a body portion that forms a receptacle. A lid is pivotable relative to the body portion. A lock assembly includes a pair of hasps attached to the lid. A lock is attached to the receptacle that has a pair of hasp receptacles located on a body portion of the lock with the pair of hasp receptacles being mechanically connected to at least one actuator.
LOAD COLLECTING DEVICE
The present invention discloses a load collecting device comprising: a case having an input port formed on one side thereof into which a load is put; a collecting unit disposed inside the case, and having an open top and an accommodation space which accommodates the load; an input unit arranged adjacent to the input port in the case, selectively rotating to open the input port, and transferring the load to the collecting unit; a pressing unit disposed on the top of the collecting unit, and of which at least a part of selectively lowers to pressurize the load accommodated in the collecting unit; and a sensing control unit sensing a load amount of the load accommodated in the collecting unit and controlling the pressing unit so as to selectively press the load.
ENCLOSURE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WASTE PRODUCT, CHEMICAL DEGRADATION PROCESS OF WASTE PRODUCT, AND CHAIN-OF-CUSTODY AUDIT TRAIL
A secured “smart” container is disclosed for collecting green waste products including operational functions for collection, video surveillance and monitoring capacity. The secured “smart” container may include one or more programmable logic controllers. Operational functions are performed by electrical components including sensors to determine green waste deposits characteristics and contents. Operational functions are further adapted to send and receive data, operationally wirelessly, and configured and adapted to utilize solar derived electric power and, optionally, electric power from other sources. Embodiments provide constant 24 hour/7 days a week video surveillance and alert monitoring capabilities. Disclosed systems and methods also include collection and transportation of waste contents from the container to a processing subsystem. Additionally, disclosed systems may also include a monitoring system for monitoring the collection of green waste product, delivery of the same to the processing subsystem and tracking to and throughout final processing of the green waste product and handling personnel.
Recyclable detection and identification system for recycling collection vehicles
Recyclable identification systems and methods are disclosed. A recyclable identification system, for example, may include a collection vehicle having a container and an imaging system disposed on the collection vehicle and positioned on the collection vehicle to image objects as the objects pass into the container. The recyclable identification system may also include a transceiver and a controller communicatively coupled with the imaging system and the transceiver. The controller may receive a plurality of images from the imaging system, the plurality of images includes images of objects that have been dumped into the container; determine a location associated with the plurality of images; combine the video or the plurality of images with the location; select an image or images of interest from frames of the plurality of images that include images of recyclables; and transmit the image of interest to a cloud computing system via the transceiver.
Refuse Vehicle Dump Verification System and Apparatus
A method and device for positively identifying that a dump event of a refuse container has occurred into a refuse hopper of a refuse vehicle are provided. When used with route software, alerts may be generated if a specific refuse container is missed or if an unexpected dump event occurs during the route.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MEASURING THE FILL LEVEL OF A TRASH CAN USING A SENSOR
A system for measuring a fill level of a trash can comprises a processor operable to receive a distance measurement from a network, wherein a sensor communicatively coupled to the processor through the network is operable to determine the distance measurement. The processor is operable to calculate a percentage of waste in the trash can based on the received distance measurement and a difference between a first setpoint and a second setpoint. The processor is operable to determine a threshold for a first period of time based on entity information. The processor is operable to compare the percentage of waste in the trash can to the threshold for the first period of time and to send an alert for display on a user device when the percentage of waste is greater than the threshold for the first period of time.
