DUST AND ALLERGEN CONTROL FOR SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS
An apparatus comprising one or more of a surface treatment apparatus having an air treatment member and a refuse container wherein at least one of the surface treatment apparatus and the refuse container is provided with one or more of (a) a dust control member providing a dust control agent comprising one or more of a liquid mist, positive ions and negative ions to an area below a dirt emptying outlet of a dirt collection region of the surface treatment apparatus; and, (b) a treatment applicator providing a treatment agent comprising one or more of a deodorizing agent, a disinfecting agent and a sanitizing agent to an interior volume of the air treatment member and an interior volume of the refuse container.
Apparatus for handling soiled articles
A tampon disposal device includes a tubular stiffener, and a membrane conforming to the stiffener with an opening on one end and an enclosure opposite the opening. The membrane is folded inside the stiffener into a first layer attached to the stiffener; and second and third layers that form a lip surrounding the stiffener near a stiffener rim. The second layer folds over the rim, reversing direction to become the third layer lip portion. The third layer continues inside the stiffener. A weak adhesive attaches the lip to the outside stiffener. Another adhesive attaches the first layer to the second layer inside the stiffener. When a hand grasps a tampon string with the membrane and pulls on the string, the first adhesive allows the lip to separate and be pulled into the stiffener together with the tampon. Pushing inwardly on the stiffener seals the tampon inside the membrane.
Container for receiving multiple flexible bag assemblies
Containers are described which can accommodate a variety of flexible bag assemblies used for containing waste. Internal accommodating structures are designed to accommodate and secure various types of bag assemblies, including single bag assemblies and cassettes.
Unitary insert for waste containers
Waste container includes a base defining a waste-receiving compartment, and an insert supported on the base and adapted to engage a peripheral edge of a bag that extends into the compartment while maintaining an opening of the bag unobstructed. The insert has at least one bag-engagement edge. A movable closure component has a first engagement position in which the closure component engages with the insert to press the bag when present against the bag-engagement edge(s) of the insert, and a second non-engagement position in which the closure component is separated from the bag-engagement edge(s) of the insert. A lid is attached to the base and movable between a first, closed position covering the opening of the bag and a second, open position in which it does not obstruct the opening of the bag.
VENTILATED TRASH CAN
A trash can that includes: four sides where the four sides include two first opposing sides and two second opposing sides; a vent system at the bottom of each second opposing side; and a top opening. The vent system preferably includes a plurality of holes, wherein the holes include air fresheners.
TRASH CAN WITH CUSTOMIZABLE FEATURES
Described is a system for controlling the operation of a trash can lid that includes a shell for receiving trash, a lid assembly that covers a portion of the shell, and an actuator assembly that independently controls the rate in which the lid assembly moves with respect to the shell. Also provided is a system for improving the operation of a trash can that includes a lid assembly for covering a portion of a shell, an actuator assembly, a base assembly, and a hydraulic component. The hydraulic component controls the rate in which a portion of the lid assembly moves with respect to the shell. The system further includes an adjustable volume of space that is formed between the base assembly and the removable liner when the removable liner is coupled to the base assembly. The adjustable volume of space can be used to store deodorizers, insecticides, or the like.
TOILET PAPER HOLDER AND TRASH RECEPTACLE
The present disclosure is directed to apparatus including a container having an open top end, a closed bottom end, and a sidewall. The apparatus also includes a divider disposed within the container forming a first chamber and a second chamber isolated from the first, and at least one lid movably secured relative to the open top end of the container such that upon moving from a first closed position to an second open position at least one of the first or second chamber is accessible.
TRASHCAN
A trashcan automatically opens and closes a trashcan lid and prevents offensive odor due to UV (ultraviolet) disinfection. The trashcan includes a case whose upper face is openable; a lid coupled to the case to be opened and closed and to seal the trashcan, and a sterilizer on the lid generating ultraviolet rays and ozone toward the trashcan for sterilization and deodorization. An opening and closing unit automatically opens and closes the lid by sensing user access. A microcomputer controls operation of the UV sterilization lamp at regular intervals when the lid is closed and the opening and closing unit. Accordingly, it is possible to prevent offensive odor from being caused by sterilizing and deodorizing the inside of the trashcan, and it is convenient for users to discard waste or dirt into the trashcan by automatically opening the trashcan lid for a certain time according to the user access.
Ashtray device for separating ash and butts
An ashtray device (1) for collecting cigarette or cigar ash and butts, the device comprising a separation mechanism (2) for separating the ash from the butts, and at least two containers (10, 11), wherein a first container (10) is positioned so as to receive the butts and a second container (11) is positioned so as to receive the ash.
Sterilization and Deodorization Waste Container
A sterilization and deodorization waste container includes an isolation chamber provided on an inner side of a container lid and a dual-band ultraviolet lamp tube installed in the isolation chamber. The dual-band ultraviolet lamp tube is capable of simultaneously generating a direct ultraviolet light wave and an ozone ultraviolet light wave. The isolation chamber includes a reflector housing having a light transmitting window facing an inner cavity of a container body. The dual-band ultraviolet lamp tube is controlled by a control circuit to turn on to generate the ultraviolet light rays into an inner cavity of the container body while the container lid is closed and to turn off to stop generating the ultraviolet while the container lid is opened.
