WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM
A container including a plurality of side walls connected to form a tubular structure. A lid is provided for covering a top opening of the tubular structure. The lid includes a separate compartment with a bag dispenser therein, and the compartment is accessible for dispensing a bag while the lid is in contact a top edge of the tubular structure. A base is provided at or near a bottom opening of the tubular structure.
Modular waste transfer station (MWTS)
System and method of managing waste at waste transfer stations. Open faced bins allow human entry for sorting, segregation or quarantining waste before it is moved to or mixed with bulk waste stations. Bins are located in covered or uncovered bays located away from waste stations. Stops and guides for precise and safe placement of bins in bays are provided. Bins have quick hitch connection points. To collect, store and redirect leachates in bins, a liquid capture zone and drain hole is provided. Bay design prevents public access to machine areas and adjacent bays.
Receptacle
A receptacle comprising a container and a lid is disclosed. The container may include one or more walls and a pair of gussets extending from a top end of the container, wherein each of the pair of gussets includes a cavity facing an opposing gusset of the pair of the gussets. The lid may include a pair of hinge components, each of the pair of hinge components including a pivot pin and a stop pin, the lid being hingedly coupled to the container via a coupling of the hinge components and the pair of gussets. Further, the stop pin of each of the pair of hinge components may be configured to contact the corresponding gusset when the lid is opened to a predetermined angle and prevent the lid from opening beyond the predetermined angle.
Unitary ornamental front load containers, ornamental surrounds, and front load containers
Unitary ornamental front load containers for containing trash and/or recyclables include a container for containing the trash and/or recyclables, and an ornamental surround attached with a connector to the front load container. The attached ornamental surround defines right and left front openings aligned with right and left front pocket openings of right and left fork pockets of the container. The ornamental surround obscures from view the front sidewall, the right sidewall having the right fork pocket, the left sidewall having the left fork pocket, the rear sidewall, and the at least one hinged top of the container by an observer standing on the ground. The container and the attached ornamental surround being liftable as a unit by forks of a front loading garbage truck to empty the trash and/or the recyclables from the unitary ornamental front load container.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR SORTABLE WASTE COLLECTION STATION
A waste container includes a floor, a first side wall, a second side wall, a back wall, a front wall, a first door, and a second door. The first and second side walls are spaced apart from each other. The back wall extends between the first side wall and the second side wall. The front wall extends from the first side wall toward the second side wall such that a gap is defined between the front wall and the second side wall. The first door and the second door are each movable between an open position and a closed position. The first door in the closed position extends between the front wall and the second side wall so all the gap is blocked. The second door in the closed position extends between the front wall and the second side wall so only a portion of the gap is blocked.
Trash receptacle for separating liquids and solids
A trash receptacle for separating liquids and solids is disclosed. An example embodiment includes: a lid unit including a sink area for receiving waste liquids and a chute area for receiving waste solids; a reservoir tank for retaining the waste liquids, the sink area including a connecting tube coupling the sink area to the reservoir tank and enabling the waste liquids to flow from the sink area into the reservoir tank; and the lid unit being configured to fit over the reservoir tank and an opening of a trash container.
Waste disposal system
A container comprises a plurality of outer side walls connected to form a tubular structure. One or more inner walls are near respective ones of the plurality of outer walls, defining a respective space between each inner wall and its respective adjacent outer wall. A lid is provided for covering a top opening of the tubular structure. A removable base is provided at or near a bottom opening of the tubular structure.
Refuse vehicle with a slant floor refuse container
A refuse vehicle has a chassis, supported by wheels, a cab and a drive train. The drive train drives at least one of the wheels. A refuse container is supported by the chassis. A mount on the chassis couples with the refuse container. The mount is positioned on the chassis so that a floor of the refuse container is angled, with respect to horizontal in a resting position, so that liquid in the refuse container runs to one end of the refuse container.
Recycling container
A recycling container with holes and slots that allow materials to be inserted one at a time into the container in an attempt to prevent non-recyclable material from being inserted into the recycling container. The recycling container further comprises a locking mechanism to restrict opening, and possibly wheels, a method of preventing materials from being withdrawn from the recycling container, a shelf to separate types of materials, and a drain.
Double-Walled Waste Container
The double-walled waste container provides an open-top roll-off container being rectangular in shape and having latching door portions at one end. The container employs a double wall construction to minimize damage, improve strength, and reduce weight. Additionally, the container provides a plurality of drain apertures which extend a full length of the container to drain off accumulated liquids and to prevent corrosion of the container.
