An angled plastic device is placed between two stationary objects to prevent small items from reaching the floor. The device does not cover the gap but allows the small objects and debris to fall directly into a trap. This allows for easy cleaning. The device also results in a more aesthetically appealing environment, as the device is not visible on the smooth services of the appliances or stationary objects surrounding the device.

A cleaning attachment for a utility bucket is disclosed. The cleaning attachment can be used to sweep debris into the utility bucket. In one non-limiting example, among others, the cleaning attachment includes a ramp, a back platform, a rim engagement slot, and a retractable tab. The ramp includes a first end and a second end, and the second end having a greater height than the first end. The rim engagement slot engages a rim of a utility bucket. The rim engagement slot is formed between a front wall of the second end of the ramp and the back platform. The retractable tab extends from a back wall of the back platform. The retractable tab formed between two slots, and the retractable tab moves toward and away from the back wall for attaching and releasing the utility bucket.

An attachment for a utility bucket having a rim includes a rim engagement portion for engaging the rim of the utility bucket in a releasably locked engagement and a ramped portion, which extends from the rim engagement portion. The ramped portion can include an inclined portion which can have a back edge, a dust pan blade, and sidewalls that extend from a free edge of the dust pan blade to the engagement portion. The sidewalls can be both angled and curved. The dust pan blade can include a plurality of blade ribs formed on a bottom surface thereof.

A yard waste collection and carrying device is in the form of a large flat-bottomed tray open at one end, sized to receive leaves, sticks and other materials raked into the open end. Formed of a semi-rigid rubbery plastic material, the device stores a large volume of material, has a pair of opposed side handles for carrying, and is easily deformed to curve the forward end into a pouring configuration, so that the collected materials can easily be transferred into a narrower waste can.
