SERVER, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR MEASURING WASTE DISCHARGE AMOUNT AND MANAGING WASTE COLLECTION
20240104517 · 2024-03-28 · ·

The present invention relates to a server for measuring a waste discharge amount and managing waste collection, the server calculating, on the basis of image data of a waste collection box captured by a sensor, the volume of waste discharged to the waste collection box, using the calculated volume to update the volume of waste accumulated in the waste collection box, and recording that the waste in the waste collection box has been collected by a waste collection company if a collection signal of the waste collection box is received from a terminal of the waste collection company, and thus the waste of all affiliated companies can be continuously tracked and monitored.

A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR MONITORING CONTENT OF A WASTE CONTAINER
20240092567 · 2024-03-21 ·

The present invention relates to a system and a method for monitoring content of a waste container. The system comprises at least one monitoring device comprising a gas sensor for detecting a concentration of at least one gas within a waste container. The system is configured such that when the at least one monitoring device is mounted to the waste container, the monitoring device is configured to communicate information indicative of the detected gas concentration within the waste container via the network interface to a remote computing device such that the system can determine whether the detected concentration of the at least one gas within the waste container exceeds or falls below a pre-determined threshold.

An embodiments of the waste management and sorting system comprises a smart waste machine configured to receive waste from a user and place the waste in proper storage containers having first identifiers, a mobile application configured to run on a user device and communicatively coupled to the smart waste machine and/or the server device, and a conveyor system configured to sort and/or process waste once it is removed from the storage containers.

Systems and methods for enhancing waste disposal and energy efficiency using sensor and alternative power technologies

A computer system including sensor and alternative power technologies for enhancing waste disposal and energy efficiency using is provided. The computer system may be configured to receive waste data and recycling data from at least one sensor located proximate to a waste bin, and determine a level of waste in the waste bin based upon the received waste data, and a level of contamination of the waste bin based upon the received recycling data. The computer system may be also configured to determine whether collection of waste in the waste bin or decontamination of the waste bin is required. The computer system may be further configured to generate an alert including information corresponding collection or decontamination of the waste bin, and transmit the alert to one or more client devices associated with at least one user.

Apparatus for the separate collection of rubbish

An apparatus for the separate collection of rubbish includes a containing structure provided with an internal compartment in which there are a plurality of rubbish collection containers and at least a first and a second aperture for access to the internal compartment from the outside, in order to introduce the rubbish.

Waste management system

A waste management system includes a waste management device, a monitoring unit, and a communication unit. The waste management device includes a collection unit, a classification unit, a segregation unit, a plurality of sensors, a power unit, and a plurality of waste bins. The collection unit collects one or more waste articles. The classification unit utilizes a machine-learning model and identifies a waste category of the one or more waste articles. The segregation unit transports the one or more waste articles to a particular waste bin corresponding to the identified waste category. The power unit supplies power to the waste management device. The monitoring unit monitors the waste management device and controls a resultant action. The communication unit communicates one or more data between a control station and the waste management device using a plurality of IoT devices.

AUTONOMOUS REFUSE CONTAINER
20240116702 · 2024-04-11 · ·

A method for an autonomous robot to empty refuse. A sensor positioned on the robot captures sensor data of an environment of the robot as the robot navigates within the environment and a processor of the robot generates a map of the environment based on at least the sensor data. The processor receives a schedule for emptying refuse stored in a container of the robot at a refuse collection location from an application of a communication device. The processor determines a path of the robot from a storage location of the robot to the refuse collection location and actuates the robot to autonomously drive along the path according to the schedule.

METHODS FOR PROVIDING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE BASED WASTE MANAGEMENT AND DEVICES THEREOF

Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and waste collection apparatuses are disclosed that provide artificial intelligence based waste management and optimized waste collection scheduling. In some examples, an artificial intelligence model can be used to classify images of waste and determine whether a correct waste type is deposited in a collection bin. In other examples, utilization data is periodically received via communication network(s) from a waste collection device within a collection area. The utilization data is determined from sensor data obtained at the waste collection device. A waste collection schedule is determined for the waste collection device based on the utilization data for the waste collection device and stored historical utilization data for other waste collection device(s) within the collection area. The determined waste collection schedule is then provided to an operational management device via other communication network(s) to facilitate more efficient waste collection for the collection area.
