Automatic locking trashcan system and method
An automatic locking trashcan system including: a trashcan assembly having a trashcan-body having an inner volume; and an outer-surface; a trashcan-lid; and an automatic-locking-assembly; wherein the trashcan assembly includes the trashcan-body, the trashcan-lid and the automatic-locking-assembly in functional combination such that when the trashcan-body is not normal to a ground surface the automatic-locking-assembly secures the trashcan-lid to the trashcan-body such that trashcan-contents are not able to leave the inner volume. Structurally speaking, the trashcan-body is defined by the inner volume and the outer-surface.
Trash can device for aircraft lavatory unit
A trash can device for an aircraft lavatory unit is provided, including: a waste container in a storage chamber of the aircraft lavatory unit; a chute, disposed above the waste container, including a trash feed opening formed at a section of the chute corresponding to a trash feed port of a panel sectioning off the storage chamber; and a waste flap that opens and closes the trash feed opening. A fire spreading prevention space is formed below the chute in a state when the waste flap is positioned in a closed position in which the trash feed opening is closed by the waste flap. The trash can device is provided with a holding/moving portion of the waste flap, the holding/moving portion holds the waste flap in an open position in which the trash feed opening is opened and moves the waste flap to the closed position when exposed to heat.
Rubbish bin blind cover
A rubbish bin blind cover 12 used to hide a wheeled W rubbish bin G, that has a handle H and a lid L, from sight until rubbish or recyclables collection day. A blind cover body 14 having a hollow cylindrical form with a top periphery, fasteners, straps, and a wire frame, with a blind cover lid 30 which is the diameter of the cylinder. The blind cover lid 30 is attacked by fasteners, and straps that crisscross with a wire frame that holds the lid L of a trashcan when opening or closing.
LOCK DEVICE FOR A WASTE RECEIVING DEVICE AND WASTE RECEIVING DEVICE WITH SUCH A LOCK DEVICE
Disclosed is a lock device for a waste receiving device including a container and a cover held on the container and a waste receiving device having such a lock device. The lock device includes an upper lock part to be fastened on the cover side and a lower lock part to be fastened on the container side. The upper lock part has an upper lock part housing, a locking mechanism and a first locking element. The lower lock part has a lower lock part housing and a second locking element. The second locking element is pivotable about a swivel axis between a blocking position and a release position. In its blocking position, the second locking element cooperates with the first locking element in such a way that the cover is blocked.
Dynamically adjustable sensors for trash compactors and receptacles
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for dynamically adjusting sensors for use in compactors and receptacles. A receptacle first sends a signal from a transmitter on a first module in a receptacle to a receiver on a second module in the receptacle, wherein the first module is located on a first inner wall of the receptacle and the second module is located on a second inner wall of the receptacle, and wherein at least part of the first module and the second module is located a distance above a bin inside the receptacle. Next, the receptacle determines a signal-detection characteristic including a signal detection status or a number of signal pulses associated with a signal detection. Based on the signal-detection characteristic, the receptacle determines an operating condition of the receptacle, the operating condition including a fullness level or an obstruction level associated with the first or second sensors.
Grease container
Embodiments of the present invention provide a collection container having a cover affixed to the top of the collection container. A mouth opens through the cover permitting access to the interior of the collection container. A lidded enclosure surrounds the mouth, and a screen may be secured within the lidded enclosure to selectively permit access through the mouth while preventing theft of the contents of the collection container.
A Standalone Waste Compaction Device
A standalone waste compacting device includes an enclosure having a removable bin; a cover section on the enclosure incorporating at least one solar power unit, at least one storage battery and control unit, at least one inwardly pivoting user access flap having a dual locking control mechanism, at least one recessed foot pedal mechanism for opening the access flap, a detachable independent compaction unit comprising a scissor linkage and lever linkage system, and at least one service access means.
Storage housing for a waste receptacle
A storage housing (10) for a waste receptacle (11) is disclosed. The housing comprises a base (12) and side walls (13a-d) which extend from the base (12), and which terminate at an upper periphery (14) thereof. At least one of the side walls (13a) comprise a door (21) which can be opened and closed to enable the waste receptacle (11) to be removably positioned within the housing (10) through the at least one side wall (13a). The housing (10) further comprises locking means for releasably locking the door (21) when closed and a lid (16) which is moveable with respect to the side walls (13a-d) between a first position in which it substantially closes the housing (10) and a second position in which it substantially opens the housing (10) to enable waste to be deposited in the waste receptacle (11).
Sanitary Napkin Disposal Device
A sanitary napkin disposal device. The sanitary napkin disposal device includes a housing. The housing is defined by a base, where a plurality of sidewalls extends upward from the base towards a top wall. This housing defines an interior volume. An opening extends through a sidewall of the housing and provides access to the interior volume of the housing. The opening feeds into a chute, such that items placed through the opening will fall into the chute. A door is placed over the opening, the door is movable between an open position and a closed position. The door is spring-biased in a closed position.
