Fire effect sensor activated trashcan
The present invention provides a trashcan or wastebasket that has lights and sounds simulating a fire that are activated when trash is thrown inside or on the verge of being thrown inside. One particular activation method consists of sensors housed at the top of the trashcan that detect when trash is thrown in. Once the trash is detected, the walls of the trashcan light up and flicker with an orange color like a fire and crackling fire sounds play. The lights and sounds play for a short interval and then stop until trash is detected again.
Electrically-powered programmable waste enclosure
This invention is directed towards a waste enclosure device (device) comprising a waste enclosure employing operational functions including collection and monitoring capacity wherein said device includes one or more programmable logic controllers. Operational functions are performed by electrical components including sensors to determine waste deposits characteristics and contents. Said device operational functions are further adapted to send and receive data, optionally wirelessly, and configured and adapted to utilize solar derived electrical power and, optionally, electric power from other sources.
AUTOMATIC SORTING OF WASTE
A waste sorting system uses various sensors to automatically determine a type of a piece of waste, and dispense the waste into an appropriate waste bin, such as a recyclable waste bin, or a landfill waste bin. If the system determines that the piece of waste is of a type that is recyclable, it will first determine whether the waste satisfies a recyclability threshold before it deposits the waste into a recyclable waste bin. If the waste does not satisfy the recyclability threshold, the system will direct the piece of waste to a non-recyclable waste bin even if it is of a type that would otherwise be recyclable if it had met the recyclability threshold.
ENCLOSURE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR WASTE PRODUCT, CHEMICAL DEGRADATION PROCESS OF WASTE PRODUCT, AND CHAIN-OF-CUSTODY AUDIT TRAIL
A secured smart container is disclosed for collecting green waste products including operational functions for collection, video surveillance and monitoring capacity. The secured smart container may include one or more programmable logic controllers. Operational functions are performed by electrical components including sensors to determine green waste deposits characteristics and contents. Operational functions are further adapted to send and receive data, operationally wirelessly, and configured and adapted to utilize solar derived electric power and, optionally, electric power from other sources. Embodiments provide constant 24 hour/7 days a week video surveillance and alert monitoring capabilities. Disclosed systems and methods include collection and transportation of waste contents from the container to a processing subsystem. Disclosed systems may also include a monitoring system for monitoring the collection of green waste product, delivery of the same to the processing subsystem and tracking to and throughout final processing of the green waste product and handling personnel.
