Smart waste receptacle providing use-incentive
A receptacle is disclosed for containing waste. The waste receptacle may have a container with at least one opening, and a sensor configured to generate a signal indicative of rubbish being deposited through the at least one opening. The waste receptacle may also have a public-use device operatively connected to the container, and a controller in communication with the sensor and the public-use device. The controller may be configured to selectively provide access to the public-use device based on the signal.
DEVICE FOR PROLONGING THE STORAGE OF ORGANIC WASTE
The device is formed by an external container (1) of strong airtight material and a second smaller inner container (3) storing the waste bag (4). The outer container (1) is equipped with an air-tight lid (8), an air suction pump (7) and a compensation pressure valve (10) to allow an easy opening of the lid (8).
System and method for controlling electrically-powered trash compactors and receptacles
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for controlling electrically-powered trash compactors and receptacles. The system first receives data associated with a storage receptacle configured to communicate with the system via a network, wherein the data is received from a server storing information transmitted by the storage receptacle, the storage receptacle having an energy storage for powering operational functions performed by the storage receptacle. The system then identifies a parameter of the storage receptacle associated with an operational function of the storage receptacle, and transmits a signal to the storage receptacle for modifying the parameter based on the data associated with the storage receptacle to yield a modified operation of the storage receptacle.
Refuse container support apparatus
Disclosed is a refuse container support apparatus including an elongated post member including a first end and a second end, with the first end disposed to support the second end above the ground, at least one foot member coupled to the post member between the first and second ends to at least partially support a refuse container above the ground, and at least one attachment bar to removably couple a refuse container to the post member from within the interior of a refuse container. The present general inventive concept can also include a substantially flat base member coupled to the post member's first end, a light in electrical communication with a solar panel disposed atop the post member, and a surround member coupled to the post member to receive and support a refuse container. The present general inventive concept can also include a fixed cover permanently attached to the surround member and a hinged gate member attached to the surround member to allow the refuse container to slide into and out of the surround member.
Waste collection and sorting apparatus
A waste management system includes a waste management device, a monitoring unit, and a communication unit. The waste management device includes a collection unit, a classification unit, a segregation unit, a plurality of sensors, a power unit, and a plurality of waste bins. The collection unit collects one or more waste articles. The classification unit utilizes a machine-learning model and identifies a waste category of the one or more waste articles. The segregation unit transports the one or more waste articles to a particular waste bin corresponding to the identified waste category. The power unit supplies power to the waste management device. The monitoring unit monitors the waste management device and controls a resultant action. The communication unit communicates one or more data between a control station and the waste management device using a plurality of IoT devices.
Recycling and disposal unit

The collection unit collects one or more waste articles. The classification unit utilizes a machine-learning model and identifies a waste category of the one or more waste articles. The segregation unit transports the one or more waste articles to a particular waste bin corresponding to the identified waste category. The power unit supplies power to the waste management device. The monitoring unit monitors the waste management device and controls a resultant action. The communication unit communicates one or more data between a control station and the waste management device using a plurality of IoT devices.
REWARD-DISPENSING, CIGARETTE-WASTE RECEPTACLE
A system comprising a housing having an input device configured to receive cigarette waste and a reward delivery device configured to dispense a reward in exchange for the cigarette waste.
Guided trash can cart assembly
A guided trash can cart assembly for automatically transporting a garbage can to a pick up location includes a cart that has a pair of tracks on each side of the cart to drive the cart along a support surface. A dump box is hingedly integrated into the cart to receive a package delivery. An actuator is integrated into the cart and the actuator urges the dump box into a dumping position and a lowered position. An engagement element is integrated into the cart. A garbage can is provided and the engagement element releasably engages the garbage can. In this way the cart can transport the garbage can to a predetermined location.
Subsurface system for the collection of refuse
The present invention describes a subsurface refuse system for side loading collection. It comprises an underground bunker (4), a refuse container (installed with lateral movable arms, a deposit input bin, one internal platform that supports temporarily the container and a cover with automatic opening and closing. All the movements are remotely operated. The container translates and is collected only with an automated side loading lifter installed in the truck.
Recovery apparatus and control method of resource recovery apparatus
A resource collection apparatus is an apparatus for collecting waste reusable as a resource. The resource collection apparatus includes an opening associated with a predetermined sorting type, an opening/closing unit configured to open and close the opening, a first detector configured to perform an operation to detect a target waste belonging to a user, and a controller configured to specify a sorting type into which the target waste is to be sorted, by using a result of the detection by the first detector. The controller switches the opening/closing unit from a closed state to an open state when the specified sorting type matches the sorting type associated with the opening.
