A jaw bone anchor for threadless engagement with a drilled jaw bone hole, the jaw bone anchor having an apical side, a coronal side, and having a root section, the jaw bone anchor including an inner core having a longitudinal extension along the root section, an outer osso-integrative shell layer that is arranged around the inner core, and a plurality of radially- extending bone engaging elements, the radially-extending bone engaging elements extending from the inner core, traversing and protruding from the outer osso-integrative shell layer.

Implant system with hydroxylated soft tissue contact surface

Two part implant for attachment of artificial teeth comprising a base body having a bone contact surface and a soft tissue contact surface. The soft tissue contact surface is at least partially hydroxylated or silanated which results in an improved soft tissue integration.

Dental implant having tapered threaded surface with installation enhancement features
11331168 · 2022-05-17 · ·

A dental implant with a specialized thread arrangement is disclosed. The dental implant includes a cylindrical upper section and a tapered lower section coupled to the cylindrical upper section. A helical thread is located on the exterior surface of the cylindrical upper section and the tapered lower section. A path is defined by the helical thread. The helical thread has a section on the exterior surface of the cylindrical body section and a section on the tapered body section. A cutting tooth is formed on the helical thread where the thread section on the cylindrical body section transitions into the thread section on the tapered body section. The cutting tooth allows minimal torque to be applied to create stability of the implant by cutting into the dense part of the bone.

Fabrication And Installation Of A Dental Implant

A dental implant for supporting periodontal tissue and the supporting bone is provided. The dental implant includes an implant member with inner canal for insertion into a periodontal bone socket, and an anchoring assembly. The anchoring assembly includes a first fastening element and radially equidistant cylindrical members. The first fastening element engages the implant member within the hollow axial cavity. The root section includes through-holes for radially and forcibly sliding the cylindrical members through them. When the first fastening element apically advances within the hollow axial cavity, the cylindrical members generate an anchoring force to anchor the dental implant.

DENTAL IMPLANT WITH FOLDABLE FINS
20220133443 · 2022-05-05 ·

The present invention relates to a dental implant having an anchoring system consisting of foldable fins actuated by an insertion screw; the dental implant is characterised by the following components: an implant body that comprises an implant-abutment connection zone, an externally threaded zone, at least one pair of exit openings and an internally threaded zone; an anchoring means comprising at least one pair of foldable fins and a top opening; an insertion screw comprising a head with an internal hexagonal socket, a stem and a screw thread; when the insertion screw is screwed into the top opening of the anchoring means, it pushes the anchoring means down into the implant body and causes the foldable fins to extend outwards through the exit openings.

IMPRESSION POST FOR CONNECTION TO A DENTAL IMPLANT

An impression post for connection to a dental implant, the impression post having a post element being connectible to the dental implant, is disclosed. An annular emergence element is detachably connected to the post element. An inner diameter of the emergence element is configured and adapted to an outer diameter of an axial portion on the post element, and the emergence element can be held in place in a predeterminable axial position of a longitudinal extent of the post element by a positioning element.

Nanoceramic dental prosthetic

A method of installing a dental prosthetic device includes securing a first guide member to an alveolar arch in a mouth of a patient. The first guide member is utilized to achieve a substantially planar bone surface along the alveolar arch. A second guide member is coupled with the first guide member. The second guide member is utilized to install one or more implants in the alveolar arch through substantially planar bone surface. A dental prosthetic is secured to the one or more implants. The dental prosthetic includes nanoceramic material.

IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICES COMPRISING BIO-DEGRADABLE ALLOYS WITH ENHANCED DEGRADATION RATES
20230248878 · 2023-08-10 ·

The invention provides medical devices comprising high-strength alloys which degrade over time in the body of a human or animal, at controlled degradation rates, without generating emboli and which have enhanced degradation due to the presence of a halogen component. In one embodiment the alloy is formed into a bone fixation device such as an anchor, screw, plate, support or rod. In another embodiment the alloy is formed into a tissue fastening device such as staple. In yet another embodiment, the alloy is formed into a dental implant or a stent.

DENTAL IMPLANTS

A dental implant including a base body, anchorable in a jawbone, defining a bone line and having formed therein an axial hole having an internally threaded portion extending from a first location to a second location, the axial hole defining a first length L1 extending from the first location to the bone line, the base body having formed thereon an externally threaded portion and defining a bearing surface, an implant superstructure configured to be attached to the base body and to contact the bearing surface, and a screw configured for attaching the implant superstructure to the base body, whereby in an assembled state, the dental implant defines a distance L3, between a location at which the screw threadably engages the internally threaded portion and a location at which a shoulder of the screw engages a shoulder of the implant superstructure, which is substantially greater than the first length L1.
