Information processing device, information processing method, system, and storage media

An information processing device includes a control unit that executes: acquiring information on whether a trash bag placed in a trash can contains trash; and placing an order of a product related to the trash or the trash bag based on the number of times a state in which there is the trash in the trash bag is changed to a state in which there is no trash in the trash bag.

Cork container

A decorative container for collecting used wine corks prior to recycling is formed from at least a front and rear panel that are generally rigid and optionally spaced apart in two parallel planes by sides panels. The side panels may have a plurality of fingers that are received in mating slots in the front and rear panels to form a box with an open upper rim and a closed bottom for receiving the corks. Decorative artwork or photographic images may be printed on the rear surface of a clear front panel. The rear surface of the clear front panel having the decorative artwork or photograph images is covered by a protective laminating layer. Decorative plaques may be attached to the forward face of the front panel via magnets. The magnets may be secured to the front panel by bolts that urge the front and rear panel secure engagement with the side panels. The decorative plaques are sized to fit over the bolts and/or magnet components that would otherwise be visible on the front sheet.

Included is a method for autonomous robotic refuse container replacement including: transmitting, by a processor of a first robotic refuse container, a request for replacement to a portion of processors of robotic refuse containers; receiving, by the processor of the first robotic refuse container, a return signal from a portion of processors of the robotic refuse containers; transmitting, by the processor of the first robotic refuse container, a confirmation for replacement to a processor of a second robotic refuse container in response to a return signal received from the processor of the second robotic refuse container; instructing, by the processor of the first robotic refuse container, the first robotic refuse container to navigate to a second location from a current location; and instructing, by the processor of the second robotic refuse container, the second robotic refuse container to navigate to the current location of the first robotic refuse container.

DYNAMICALLY ADJUSTABLE SENSORS FOR TRASH COMPACTORS AND RECEPTACLES

Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for dynamically adjusting sensors for use in compactors and receptacles. A receptacle first sends a signal from a transmitter on a first module in a receptacle to a receiver on a second module in the receptacle, wherein the first module is located on a first inner wall of the receptacle and the second module is located on a second inner wall of the receptacle, and wherein at least part of the first module and the second module is located a distance above a bin inside the receptacle. Next, the receptacle determines a signal-detection characteristic including a signal detection status or a number of signal pulses associated with a signal detection. Based on the signal-detection characteristic, the receptacle determines an operating condition of the receptacle, the operating condition including a fullness level or an obstruction level associated with the first or second sensors.

STORAGE AND COLLECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USE
20200191580 · 2020-06-18 · ·

Systems and methods for managing the collection of contents from geographically distributed containers are disclosed herein. The systems can have a sensor in the container in data communication with a server system. The sensor can send data regarding the volume of contents in the container to the server system. The server system can then create routing information for a fleet of vehicles to empty the containers based on which containers are full enough for immediate collection, other predictive data for less full containers, and traffic and other routing factors for the vehicles. The server system can then transmit the routing information to the vehicles, track the vehicles, and prepare reports.
