The container comprises a cover, a base, and a body, which includes one or more spine structures and one or more door panels which may open and allow substantially lateral access to the interior of the container. The one or more door panels may be secured in a closed position by a latch mechanism. In a first mode, the latch mechanism is not released. In a second mode, the latch mechanism is released. The first mode and the second mode may operate concurrently and can be accessed separately via different mechanisms. A switch mechanism may alternate between the first mode and the second mode. Alternatively, a pedal includes a first pedal mechanism corresponding to the first mode and a second pedal mechanism corresponding to the second mode.

An improved garbage can including a main body including at least one side wall, a front panel member, an open top portion, a top panel member, and a bottom panel member; and at least one wheel member. The at least one side wall forms a front opening adapted to allow garbage bags to pass therethrough. The open top portion is formed by upper edges of said at least one side wall and is adapted to allow garbage bags to pass therethrough. The at least one side wall, the front panel member, the top panel member, and the bottom panel member define an interior volume adapted to removably hold garbage bags therein. A garbage removal kit is also disclosed herein comprising: a plurality of garbage bags; a plurality of cleaning members; and the improved garbage can.

A waste receptacle storage and transportation container is an apparatus utilized to securely hold multiple waste receptacles. A first support gusset and a second support gusset are utilized to improve structural support of the lateral wall. Waste receptacles within the apparatus are held snug and prevented from shifting by a restraining rail positioned on an interior surface of the lateral wall as well as by a restraining cable that is removably connected across an open end of the apparatus.
