TRASH CAN ASSEMBLY
Various trash can assembly embodiments are disclosed. In some embodiments, the trash can assembly includes a body and a lid assembly. The lid assembly can include a lid, and a multicomponent trim ring. The lid assembly can be rotatably connected with the body via a hinge unit. In certain embodiments, a flange of the trim ring is guided into and/or received into the hinge unit. A translating pin of the hinge unit can engage into the flange, thereby providing a rotatable connection between the trim ring and the body. In various embodiments, the translating pin is coupled with a handle to facilitate movement of the pin by a user during engagement of the trim ring and the hinge unit. A positioner can help to position the trash can against or adjacent to a wall or other structure. The movement of both the trim ring and the lid can be dampened.
NESTABLE TRASH RECEPTACLE WITH WHEELS
The invention involves a wheeled trash receptacle having wheels slidable on an axle between an inboard position where the trash receptacle may be nested inside of a like constructed trash receptacle and an outboard position where the wheels are spaced further apart to provide for stability of the trash receptacle while being moved on its wheels. The wheel spacer is constructed as a one piece member that can be slid over a side surface of the axle to be positioned on either side of either wheel on the trash receptacle. The construction of the wheel spacer also makes removal of the wheel spacer an easy task should the user want to change the configuration of the trash receptacle at any time.
Nesting container with integrated receptacle
The present disclosure provides a container apparatus. The apparatus may include a container body. The container body may include a top, a bottom, and sidewalls spanning between the top and the bottom. The bottom and sidewalls may form an interior face and an exterior face, such that an enclosure is formed by the interior face. The apparatus may further include an inner ridge and a receptacle. The inner ridge may be defined on the interior face at the bottom. The receptacle may be formed by the inner ridge. The receptacle may thus be defined on a portion of the bottom within the enclosure. The inner ridge includes a hollow interior that forms an outer channel on the exterior face. The container body may be a trash can, and the receptacle may be shaped to receive a roll of trash bags.
