Fabrication And Installation Of A Dental Implant
A dental implant for supporting periodontal tissue and the supporting bone is provided. The dental implant includes an implant member with inner canal for insertion into a periodontal bone socket, and an anchoring assembly. The anchoring assembly includes a first fastening element and radially equidistant cylindrical members. The first fastening element engages the implant member within the hollow axial cavity. The root section includes through-holes for radially and forcibly sliding the cylindrical members through them. When the first fastening element apically advances within the hollow axial cavity, the cylindrical members generate an anchoring force to anchor the dental implant.
IMPLANT ASSEMBLY
The present invention proposes an implant assembly provided with an abutment that enables easy coupling with a crown. An abutment (20) according to the present invention has a fastening depression (24) that is formed in the center thereof and a top inclined surface (22) that increases outward from the top end of the fastening depression (24), and is fixed to the upper portion of a fixture (80) that is fixed to the alveolar bone. A crown link (30) has a bottom inclined surface (32) and a crown support portion (36). When the crown link (30) is placed on the abutment (20), the top inclined surface (22) and the bottom inclined surface (32) are coupled to each other, and simultaneously the through hole (38) of the crown link (30) and the fastening depression (24) of the abutment (20) are coaxially aligned with each other.
Drop-shaped screw conduit for a dental superstructure and designing method thereof
A dental superstructure securable to a protruding dental abutment, related assembly and method of design are provided. The dental superstructure is designed to mimick a tooth and is perforated to create a drop-shaped screw conduit for screw insertion and advancement. The screw conduit includes an insertion portion extending substantially conically outwardly from an inlet to enable advancement of an inserted screw along an insertion axis and a spherical angulation portion extending from and communicating with the insertion portion to allow angulation of the screw from the insertion axis to an implant axis. Buccal and/or lingual contours of the screw conduit may be respectively arched outwardly and inwardly from the insertion axis to adapt to screw advancement needs. The dental superstructure may be part of an assembly for a dental implant in combination with an osseointegrable implant including the protruding dental abutment; and a dental abutment screw.
Nanoceramic dental prosthetic
A method of installing a dental prosthetic device includes securing a first guide member to an alveolar arch in a mouth of a patient. The first guide member is utilized to achieve a substantially planar bone surface along the alveolar arch. A second guide member is coupled with the first guide member. The second guide member is utilized to install one or more implants in the alveolar arch through substantially planar bone surface. A dental prosthetic is secured to the one or more implants. The dental prosthetic includes nanoceramic material.
Abutment for Implant Connector
A dental abutment, is disclosed, comprising first and second units, the first unit is removably connectible to an unclaimed in vivo dental implant by a connective element pivotable with respect to both units. Said first unit having a distal end contoured in match with an end contour of the dental implant, and a proximal end contoured in match with a distal end contour of the second unit, said proximal end comprises a supportive surface adapted to lie in contact with a contact surface located on the distal end of the second unit. The supportive surface and the contact surface may be planner (uncurved) surfaces, and the connective means between the units may be other than and unattached to the connective element which connects the first unit to an intended implant. A tolerated connective assembly bar may be secured to the disclosed abutment, for retaining a dental milled by a plurality of the disclosed dental abutment.
DENTAL IMPLANT HAVING FORM IN WHICH ABUTMENT AND PROTHESIS ARE INTEGRALLY CONNECTED, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME
A dental implant, and a manufacturing method for the same. The dental implant includes a form in which, in order to increase the strength of the connection between a metallic abutment and a dental prosthesis, the abutment and the prosthesis are integrally connected, wherein the prosthesis and the abutment are integrally connected to each other by means of a forming method.
FASTENING CHANNEL THROUGH A DENTAL RESTORATION
The invention relates to a method for a computer-implemented method for configuring a fastening channel through a dental restoration for fastening a retaining means retaining the dental restoration. The method comprises receiving a 3D digital restoration model of the dental restoration with an artificial tooth and a definition of an implant. A relative positioning of the dental restoration relative to the implant is determined. A position of the fastening channel extending from the implant through the artificial tooth is determined. In case the position of the fastening channel violating a set of one or more pre-defined positioning criteria. The position of the fastening channel is automatically adjusted by angulating the fastening channel such that the positioning criteria are satisfied.
DENTAL ABUTMENT SCREW
An abutment screw having a first hardness for use in affixing a dental prosthetic, having a second hardness less than the first hardness, to an abutment that itself is attachable to an implant in the mouth of a patient includes a head and a body. The body includes a smooth shank immediately proximate the head, and a threaded portion comprising a helical ridge that runs around its body, the helical ridge beginning at a point along the body distal the head portion. The head includes an upper surface, having a drive at a central portion thereof, and an underside surface having a convex radiused curvature extending until it meets the shaft, the convex radiused curvature being configured to conform to a corresponding concave curvature of a receiving portion of the prosthesis.
DENTAL PROSTHETIC ASSEMBLIES AND COUPLING SYSTEMS
A dental prosthetic assembly includes an additively manufactured semi-flexible reinforcement bar and a polymer and glass outer layer chemically luted to the semi-reinforcement bar outside of the reinforcement bar. The semi-flexible reinforcement bar forms an interior of the dental prosthetic assembly and at least a portion of the polymer and glass outer layer forms teeth of the dental prosthetic assembly. A coupling system of a dental prosthetic assembly includes pins disposed in openings extending into the dental prosthetic assembly and implant abutments configured to be coupled with a mouth of a patient. The implant anchors have horizontal holes configured to receive the pins. The pins secure the dental prosthetic assembly to the implant abutments by moving into the dental prosthetic assembly through the openings and into the holes of the implant abutments.
INTEGRAL-TYPE IMPLANT
An integral-type implant includes an intraosseous implant part, a gum penetration part, and a prosthetic appliance attachment part integrated with each other to solve an aesthetic problem which is not solved in a conventional integral-type implant so that an aesthetic customized prosthetic appliance is attached and then the final prosthetic appliance is attached to the aesthetic customized prosthetic appliance.
