Magnet assembly for dental magnetic attachment
A magnet assembly for a dental magnetic attachment comprising a cup-shaped yoke of substantially Ni-free ferritic stainless steel, a permanent magnet received in a recess of the cup-shaped yoke, a seal member sealing an opening of the cup-shaped yoke, and an abutment-welded portion of the seal member and the cup-shaped yoke; the seal member comprising a center portion of substantially Ni-free ferritic stainless steel; an intermediate portion of substantially Ni-free austenitic stainless steel having a nitrogen content of 0.5-2.0% by mass, and a peripheral portion made of substantially Ni-free ferritic stainless steel having a nitrogen content of 1.3% or less by mass, smaller than in the intermediate portion.
DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND METHOD FOR REMOVAL
A dental prosthesis including a prosthesis base and at least one artificial tooth, and including at least one micro drive for detaching the dental prosthesis from an alveolar crest. The invention further relates to a method for removing such a dental prosthesis from an oral cavity, wherein the dental prosthesis is detached from an alveolar crest in the oral cavity by means of a micro drive and then manually removed from the oral cavity. In order to detach a dental prosthesis adhering to the alveolar crest, the micro drive according to the invention is a micro motor which drives a lifting means which lifts the dental prosthesis from the alveolar crest.
Implant overdenture system and implant
An implant overdenture system is used to fix an implant overdenture onto alveolar ridge by the support of implants. The implant overdenture has artificial teeth, a denture base, and magnetic assemblies. The implants each have an implant body and a keeper. A largest circumscribed circle diameter d1 in an outer shape of a surface-to-be-attracted of the keeper is equal to or larger than 1.8 mm, and a largest diameter d2 of the implant body is equal to or larger than 1.2 mm and equal to or less than 3.5 mm, and these largest diameters have a relationship expressed by d1/d21.5.
DENTAL PROSTHESES DEVICES AND METHODS
Root canal abutment devices and methods which facilitate the adjustment or removal of an oral appliance, e.g., a crown or bridge, from a reconfigurable abutment assembly are described. The adjustable abutment assembly may be secured within a pulp chamber of a pre-existing tooth. The abutment assembly has a projecting abutment portion with one or more shape memory alloy sleeves or plates or elements extending along the abutment. Each of the sleeves has a length with at least one curved or arcuate portion. Energy may be applied to the elements such that the arcuate portion flattens to allow for the oral appliance to be placed thereupon while removal of the energy allows the elements to reconfigure into its curved configuration thereby locking the oral appliance to the abutment. Removal of the oral appliance may be effected by reapplication of energy to the elements.
Kit and method for taking dental impressions and forming dental models
A first assembly is provided for forming the dental impression and a second assembly for forming the dental model, wherein the first assembly includes an impression post; a first coupler for coupling the impression post with a dental implant affixed within the mouth; and an impression cap for positioning on the impression post. The second assembly includes: a model post; a second coupler for coupling the model post with a dental analog; and the impression cap. The impression cap has a first and second securing means, both for selectively securing the impression cap to the impression post and to the model post.
Systems and methods for attachment of dental prostheses
Dental implant systems for releasable attachment of dental prostheses are shown and described. Each of the dental implant systems includes an implant body, a prosthesis body, and an abutment body with a locking device. The locking device includes a magnetically attractable member having a first end coupled to a spring and a second end. The magnetically attractable member is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position. The dental implant system further includes a void configured to receive the second end, the magnetically attractable member being at least partially disposed within the void in the locked position, the magnetically attractable member being free of the void in the unlocked position.

Dental Implant Surgery Organizer Case
A dental implant organizer case includes a housing with a plurality of compartments selectively arranged therein. Each compartment includes: a respective lid pivotally mounted to the housing to cover the compartment's cavity when closed; means for biasing the lid from the closed to the open position; means to releasably secure the lid in the closed position; means to releasably support dental implant containers within the compartment in an upright position; and a respective tooth number marking to indicate the tooth intended for the implant containers therein. The selectively arranged compartments may form a semi-circular or an in-line arrangement. Two compartment levels may be utilized, with the lower compartments being accessible using a tray being slidable with respect to the housing. Two cases may be secured together to be pivotable between collapsed and extended positions, where the first and second cases store dental implant containers for left-hand and right-hand teeth, respectively.
