A transmission axis of at least one transmitter in the first subset of transmitters can be different from a transmission axis of at least one of the transmitters in the second subset of transmitters. An electronic processor can generate an electronic signal to a power-operated drive mechanism for moving the lid portion from a closed position to an open position, such as in response to the sensor assembly detecting the object.

One example embodiment is adapted for use in facilitating collection and transport of memory devices, e.g., drives, motherboards, etc., e.g., for the purposes of subsequent destruction. The example embodiment has an outer bin, also called a garage or outer enclosure, within which is placed an inner bin with wheels. Once closed and locked, the outer bin has a door that can be opened so drives or other memory devices can be inserted. A multi-stage lid ultraviolet sterilizing waste container is disclosed which contains a housing, base, lid assembly, support structure for receiving flexible bag assemblies and at least one UV light source for sterilizing the inside of the container. The waste container further includes sensors and motors to automate certain steps.

A vomit receptacle that includes a nausea relief substance that may be released on demand to relieve the nausea of a user who also must be prepared to contain a vomiting event. The receptacle may be a flexible bag, and the relief substance may be contained in a sealed packet in the bag, or in a kit with the bag. The substance may be an aromatic essential oil such as peppermint oil.
