Rotationally operable bin liner for use in a refuse receptacle
A refuse bin includes a frame defining an interior cavity and a seating structure. A bin liner has a biasing surface that rotationally engages the seating structure to define a recessed first position characterized by the bin liner set within the interior cavity. An elevated second position is characterized by the bin liner being vertically offset from the frame. The first position is vertically and rotationally distal from the second position. A bag retaining mechanism is defined between the frame and the bin liner. The first position defines a secured state of the bag retaining mechanism and the second position defines a maintenance state of the bag retaining mechanism.
TRASH CAN ASSEMBLY
Various trash can assembly embodiments are disclosed. In some embodiments, the trash can assembly includes a body and a lid assembly. The lid assembly can include a lid, and a multicomponent trim ring. The lid assembly can be rotatably connected with the body via a hinge unit. In certain embodiments, a flange of the trim ring is guided into and/or received into the hinge unit. A translating pin of the hinge unit can engage into the flange, thereby providing a rotatable connection between the trim ring and the body. In various embodiments, the translating pin is coupled with a handle to facilitate movement of the pin by a user during engagement of the trim ring and the hinge unit. A positioner can help to position the trash can against or adjacent to a wall or other structure. The movement of both the trim ring and the lid can be dampened.
Films and bags having low-force extension patterns
A thermoplastic film which exhibits elastic-like behavior along at least one axis when stretched or elongated and then released. The thermoplastic film comprises a plurality of raised rib-like elements extending in a direction perpendicular to a main surface of the thermoplastic film. The thermoplastic film further includes a plurality of web areas positioned about the plurality of raised rib-like elements. The plurality of raised rib-like elements and plurality of web areas are arranged in a complex pattern. The complex pattern provides visual and tactile cues as the films are stretched or elongated. The complex pattern can cause the thermoplastic film to have a low force extension.
Roll out cart
A container, such as a roll-out cart, includes a body portion and a lid. The body portion includes an outer wall extending upward from a base wall to a mouth of the body portion. The lid is secured to the body portion and pivotable between a closed position over the mouth and an open position. The lid includes an upper lid portion and a lower lid portion. The upper lid portion extends downward to an outer lip. The lower lid portion extends downward to an inner lip. The inner lip is inward of the outer wall of the body portion when the lid is in the closed position. The outer lip is outward of the outer wall of the body when the lid is in the closed position.
SCENTED DRAWSTRING BAG
The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic bag comprised of a front panel and a back panel. The front panel and back panel are generally joined along a first side edge, a second side edge, and a bottom edge of the respective front panel and back panel. The front panel has a distal edge with the distal edge folded over the front panel to provide a hem and an overlap area immediately below the first hem. The overlap encapsulates a scent carrier that provides a scent to the thermoplastic bag.
Garbage bag set and associated use thereof
A garbage bag set for improving trash maintenance and management. The garbage bag set includes a plurality of detachably interconnected garbage bags configured to be simultaneously seated within an existing trash receptacle. Such detachably interconnected garbage bags include at least a first garbage bag and a second garbage bag wherein the first garbage bag is removably lined with the second garbage bag. In this manner, the detachably interconnected garbage bags are coextensively shaped. The detachably interconnected garbage bags are further configured such that the first garbage bag is detached from the second garbage bag while the second garbage bag remains seated within the existing trash receptacle.
RECEPTACLE FOR WASTE MATERIAL
A receptacle for waste material is disclosed. The receptacle may comprise a cabinet/structure with a hinged/flip door actuated by an actuator such as a foot plate/pedal. Items of waste material may be deposited into the receptacle (e.g. in a hands-free action) through an opening at the flip door actuated from a closed position toward an open position by movement of the foot pedal from a default position to an actuated position. The receptacle may comprise an actuation mechanism such as a linkage/link assembly coupling the flip door to the foot pedal; the mechanism may be configured to shield/cover the linkage from contact with items of waste material. The link/link assembly may comprise a rigid member such as a rod coupled to the side of the flip door and the side of the foot pedal (or to each side of the flip door and the foot pedal). Actuation/action of the flip door with the mechanism may be modified by design/configuration of the foot plate/pedal and design/configuration of the flip door. An internal bin or liner may be provided within the receptacle.
Waste basket liner securing apparatus
A waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus including a pair of liner bag retaining apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket to receive and secure a waste basket liner bag. Reusable aperture covers can be secured over the apertures to occlude the apertures. In another embodiment, the waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus includes two sets of magnets, each set formed within, or secured to inner surfaces of, opposing waste basket container walls of a waste basket container. Magnetized hooks are positioned over a selected magnet in each set to permit retention of a liner bag. In a further embodiment, a waste basket liner bag retaining apparatus includes apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket container, each with a retractable cover to secure portions of a liner bag in the apertures. The retractable covers may include rotatable bag retaining tabs.
Shank Proof Container
A shank proof container made of a flexible industrial plastic sheet sheet. The industrial plastic sheet sheet may be cut to form shapes that are welded by RF welding or other forming means to create a closed container having a bottom, side wall and an open top. The RF welding creates welded multi-layer seams that support the bottom spaced from the open top.
