EMBOSS PATTERNS FOR THERMOPLASTIC FILMS
The present invention relates to thermoplastic film having improved tear resistance, puncture resistance, and enhanced control of the film's elongation when subject to an applied load. The film can have an emboss pattern comprising a plurality of embossed regions, each embossed region comprising a plurality of closely spaced, non-intersecting sinusoidal shaped embosses. A sinusoidal emboss of an embossed region can be divided into three sections, wherein for each section along the emboss, the cross and machine orientation of the film can vary due to formation of the emboss. The emboss pattern can be arranged into various sections, wherein the amplitudes of the sinusoidal embosses of an embossed region can vary from one section of the pattern to another. The overall geometric shape of the embossed regions can also vary from one emboss region to another.
Waste container
A waste container includes a base wall and an outer wall extending upward from a periphery of the base wall to define an upper opening. The outer wall includes an upper portion and a lower portion. The upper portion has a larger dimension in a forward and rearward direction than the lower portion. A vertical stress channel is formed in a rear portion of the outer wall. The vertical channel extends across the lower portion of the outer wall and upward partially into the upper portion. A lid may be pivotably mounted relative to the outer wall at a rear of the waste container to selectively cover the upper opening. A plurality of wheels are rotatably connected proximate a lower rear edge of the outer wall.
Leash attached animal waste disposal unit with flashlight
A pet waste collection system includes a first component and a second component detachably connected to each other. The first component has a first inner area to hold a roll of dog waste bags that is formed from a solid outer cylindrical wall and a solid bottom. A first flap encloses a top portion of the first inner area and has an aperture retrieving a dog waste bag. A pushbutton latch secures and releases the first flap. A hook attaches the first component to a dog leash. The second component has a second inner area for holding a filled dog waste bag and is formed from an outer cylindrical wall including a plurality of perforations and a solid bottom. A second flap encloses a top portion the second inner area. A pushbutton latch secures and releases the second flap. A hook attaches the second component to a dog leash.
Garbage Basket with Garbage Bag Penetrator Members
The invention is directed to a garbage container used for receiving a plastic garbage bag and holding the plastic trash bag in place during use. The plastic basket includes a base bottom portion and an upstanding side wall portion surrounding and continuing the base bottom portion to form an internal cavity. The side wall portion includes on the opposite end of the base bottom portion a convex flange protruding away from the internal cavity. The convex flange includes at least one protuberant wedge formed along at least one section of the convex flange. At least one protuberant wedge shaped in a manner to receive the open ended upper section of the plastic garbage bag.
Flexible container lid
A flexible container lid requiring only one hand to secure objects in an associated container is provided. The lid has a lid aperture providing a medial passageway from which a plurality of narrow openings radially extends so that the lid aperture expands as objects are urged onto it and the flexible lid moves from a flat condition to a bowed condition. Thereby accommodating items that are larger than the centrally located medial passageway by using the narrow openings in conjunction with the medial passageway to expand the size of the entire lid aperture in the bowed condition as the portions of the lid that define each narrow opening simultaneously move way from each other, respectively. Furthermore, the lid returns to its starting flat condition covering the associated container once an item has been placed therein, obviating the need for a user to initially remove the lid from the container.
ROTATIONALLY OPERABLE BIN LINER FOR USE IN A REFUSE RECEPTACLE
A refuse bin includes a frame defining an interior cavity and a seating structure. A bin liner has a biasing surface that rotationally engages the seating structure to define a recessed first position characterized by the bin liner set within the interior cavity. An elevated second position is characterized by the bin liner being vertically offset from the frame. The first position is vertically and rotationally distal from the second position. A bag retaining mechanism is defined between the frame and the bin liner. The first position defines a secured state of the bag retaining mechanism and the second position defines a maintenance state of the bag retaining mechanism.
Receptacle liner
A receptacle liner for gripping the receptacle and method of making. A liner may be formed by one or more panels including at least one resilient segment extending from a bottom to a top of the liner. The liner segment can be coextruded so that the resilient segment is made from resilient material and other portions of the liner are made from another material that is less resilient. When the liner is placed in a receptacle, the liner can be expanded by resiliently stretching the resilient segment so that the liner may apply a gripping force to the receptacle. The liner can include gusseted side panels. A mouth can be formed as a recess in the top ends of front and rear panels and extend through the gusseted side panels to define handle portions and form apertures in the handle portions that open to the mouth.
Vomit Bag with Anti-nausea Aroma Dispenser
A vomit receptacle that includes a nausea relief substance that may be released on demand to relieve the nausea of a user who also must be prepared to contain a vomiting event. The receptacle may be a flexible bag, and the relief substance may be contained in a sealed packet in the bag, or in a kit with the bag. The substance may be an aromatic essential oil such as peppermint oil.
RECEPTACLE LINER
A liner for lining a receptacle has a front panel and a rear panel that define an interior and a top opening in fluid communication with the interior. A frangible sizing seal structure joins together the front and rear panels along the top of the liner adjacent a side of the liner. The sizing seal structure limits a size of the liner opening and is configured to be selectively broken to separate the front and rear panels to enlarge the size of the liner opening so that the top edge margin fits over a rim of the receptacle. In a method of making the liner, the front and rear panels are sealed together to form the frangible sizing seal structure.
EXTERNALLY-ABSORBENT INVERTABLE WASTE MOPPING AND DISPOSAL BAG FOR CLEANING UP URINE, VOMIT, AND STOOL
An invertable human and animal waste mopping and disposal bag is disclosed for mopping, grasping, and/or gathering urine, stool, and/or vomit using one's hand inside the bag, and then inverting and tying off the bag for disposal. The waste mopping and disposal bag includes a moisture-resistant bag that can contain liquid and solid waste. The moisture-resistant bag has an opening adapted to receive a hand, and has first and second moisture-resistant panels. At least one moisture-absorbent panel is bonded to the first moisture-resistant panel of the moisture-resistant bag using an adhesive. The adhesive is applied along the perimeter of the moisture-resistant panel, creating an air pocket between the moisture-absorbent panel and the respective moisture-resistant panel, which increases thermal insulation and liquid absorbing capacity. Preferably, adhesive is applied within a strip 10 mm wide running along the edge of the moisture-absorbent panel, regardless of the shape of the moisture-absorbent panel.
