Security bin

A security bin formed from a commercially available rectangular plastic bin having removable lids that are secured to the bin to prevent unauthorized access to the items placed therein. The lids are locked with a tamperproof flap and latching hook to prevent access to the bin contents. Plexiglass windows allow viewing of materials placed within the bin. Spring pins allow ease of lid movement for access to the bin contents, or allow removal of the windows to allow stacking for storage and shipping. An optional scanner can be mounted to one of the lids for recording and tracking of storage media placed within the bin.

The hollow container has a spherical shape, a tall goblet shape, and a tall octagon shape. The four point star opening has a cross shape, a narrow arm shape, and a diamond shape. The container may be made of is made of rubber, silicone, plastic, metal and glass.

Reusable aperture covers can be secured over the apertures to occlude the apertures. A waste-basket-liner-bag-retaining apparatus includes hook inserts secured to either side of a waste basket to provide hooks for retaining an end of a waste basket liner bag. In another embodiment, two sets of magnets, each set formed within, or secured to inner surfaces of, opposing waste basket container walls of a waste basket container that secured magnetized hooks. A waste-basket-liner-bag-retaining apparatus includes apertures formed on opposing sides of a waste basket container, each with a retractable cover to secure portions of a liner bag in the apertures. The retractable covers may include rotatable bag retaining tabs.

Receptacle for yard waste

The receptacle for yard waste will allow the user to quickly combine the collecting, compacting and bagging of leaves and yard waste by providing a single receptacle that a user can collect yard waste into a bag within, and then compact. The bag is quick and easy to install within the receptacle, and is removed through the front opening so that the user doesn't have to lift the compacted bag out of the top of the receptacle. The front opening also makes it possible to do away with the step of having to eliminate one or more air pockets between a traditional plastic yard waste bag and the bagging container.

Receptacle liner

A receptacle liner for gripping the receptacle and method of making. A liner may be formed by one or more panels including at least one resilient segment extending from a bottom to a top of the liner. The liner segment can be coextruded so that the resilient segment is made from resilient material and other portions of the liner are made from another material that is less resilient. When the liner is placed in a receptacle, the liner can be expanded by resiliently stretching the resilient segment so that the liner may apply a gripping force to the receptacle. The liner can include gusseted side panels. A mouth can be formed as a recess in the top ends of front and rear panels and extend through the gusseted side panels to define handle portions and form apertures in the handle portions that open to the mouth.
