AUTOMATED STORAGE TOWER WITH MULTIPLE ROWS
A storage tower for storing storage containers includes a plurality of horizontally extending container supporting frameworks distributed with vertical offsets. The plurality of horizontal container supporting frameworks includes a first container supporting framework and at least one second container supporting framework arranged beneath and extending parallel to the first container supporting framework. Each of the first and the at least one second container supporting frameworks includes a horizontally extending container support with principal directions in a first direction and an orthogonal second direction. Each container support is configured as a matrix of container spaces with a plurality of columns of container spaces arranged in the first direction and a plurality of rows of container spaces arranged in the second direction. Each row of container spaces of the first container supporting framework is configured to receive a plurality of storage containers and displays at least one opening extending along the second direction, the at least one opening having an opening size being at least a maximum horizontal cross section of the storage containers to be stored. The at least one opening of the first container supporting framework and the at least one opening of the at least one second container supporting framework can be aligned vertically with respect to each other. At least one container support is displaceable along the second direction. At least one container supporting framework further includes a support displacement device configured to displace the displaceable container support.
Modular containerization systems and methods
Modular containerization systems and methods may include a plurality of modular units that may be removably coupled together in various configurations. Each modular unit may receive a container, and each container may receive one or more objects. In addition, each modular unit may include various sensors and processing aid or indicators, such as a container presence sensor, a scale, a stow-to-light indicator, a container complete button and indicator, and a container removal indicator. Further, each modular unit of a modular container system may be in communication with a controller to coordinate various processes associated with the system, including container placement, container filling, and container removal processes using the various sensors and processing aids or indicators.
STORAGE SHELF
A storage shelf includes: a main frame; a plurality of shelf modules each having a base plate detachably provided on the main frame, and a supply nozzle provided on the base plate; a main pipe through which purge gas supplied from a supply source flows, and a first branch provided in the main pipe and branches a flow path from the main pipe, in which the shelf modules are each provided with a mass flow controller configured to adjust the flow rate of the purge gas supplied to the supply nozzle, the first branch is connected to a module pipe via an open/close valve that opens/closes the flow path, and the mass flow controller is connected to the module pipe.

MOBILE SORTER PLATFORMS AND METHOD FOR SORTING ARTICLES
Platform assembly for use with sorting articles comprises platforms connected to each other to form at least one level surface for transit thereabout by a plurality of vehicles. Each platform defines a first orientation in which the platform is in a retracted position and a second orientation in which the platform is in an extended position with a horizontal disposition. Each platform includes a first panel comprising a plurality of markers thereon, the markers forming a grid on the first panel for transit thereabout by the plurality of vehicles. Each marker includes a magnetic signature for determining an orientation of the marker. A container is positioned about at least one of the plurality of markers. In operation, the vehicle is directed by a control system to deposit an article carried thereon into a container associated with a marker based on the location and orientation of the marker.
