Compact proppant storage and dispensing system

A proppant tower comprising: a main body configured to be in a substantially vertical orientation in a working position; a base mounted on a bottom end of the main body, such that the main body rests on the base when in the working position; a bin disposed within the main body; and an outlet having two ends, the first end radially extending from the main body below the bin and in fluid communication with the bin and the second end being open, such that particulates are discharged from the bin into the first end of the outlet and out of the second end of the outlet, wherein the outlet radially extends from the main body at a location on the main body that permits at least four proppant towers to be arranged about a single particulate collection device.

A Pneumatic Bulk Container (PBC) includes a tank body configured to carry bulk product and further configured to form an airtight seal to hold pressurized air and an input port for receiving pressurized air. An air line coupled to the input port for receiving pressured air from the air input port and for conducting the pressurized air into the PBC is coupled to a three inch jet line that produces a greater volume and lower pressure air into an output port. At least one inflatable air slide coupled to receive pressured air from the air line for fluidizing and pushing the bulk product towards the four inch diameter output port.

Granular material storage with input and output

A bulk storage and dispensing system has transportable silos releasably secured at bottom ends thereof to a fixed silo location on a site surface. A conveyor assembly is releasably secured to a fixed conveyor location on the site surface adjacent to the silos and includes a lower output conveyor, an upper input conveyor, a rigid upper frame, and a conveyor raising mechanism operative to raise the conveyor assembly from a lowered transport position to a raised operating position. The lower output conveyor receives granular material from each silo and discharges same at a desired location. The upper input conveyor receives granular material when in the raised operating position and directs same into each silo. Upper silo locks lock upper portions of the silos to the rigid upper frame of the conveyor assembly when the rigid upper frame is in the raised operating position.

Grain Storage Bin with Aeration System

A grain storage bin includes a cylindrical wall formed by a plurality of panels arranged in rows with a bottom edge of a first row bolted to a top edge of a second lower row. At each joint the bottom edge of the first upper row is overlapped with and outside of the outer surface of top edge of the second lower row and the bottom edge is fastened to the top edge by bolts carrying spacers as to define a first channel along the joint for passage of air. A cover strip overlies the channel and extends from an upper edge of the strip at the inner surface of the first panel above the channel to a lower edge of the strip which is fastened to the top edge so as to define a second channel so that air can pass between the interior and the exterior through the first and second channels while the particulate material is prevented from escaping through the first channel by the cover strip.

System and method of coating a proppant

A system for adding dust control solution to a vertically falling first stream of a substantially dry particulate proppant, where the first stream has effective diameter, the system including a stationary, generally horizontal, deflector plate with drop-off edge, the plate mounted into the stream whereby the proppant collides with the plate and cascades from the plate around the drop-off edge to create a second stream of the particulate proppant having the general shape of the drop-off edge with a stream thickness and nozzles for spraying dust control solution into the second stream.

Conveying systems

A conveying system for conveying a conveyable material from a hopper where the system includes a fluid port located below the hopper outlet and in a vertical flow path into hopper outlet that can be momentarily opened for an on the go release of a charge of compressed air directly upward into the hopper outlet and into the underside of the bridge in the hopper to either disintegrate or unlock the bridged particles from each other thereby causing the bridged material to fall into the hopper outlet and into the conveying system where the material can be transported to a remote location or to remove any material that may be adhering to the wall during an emptying phase.
