PACKAGE FOR AN OBJECT AND AN ASSEMBLY INCLUDING SUCH A PACKAGE
A package for an object such as a preferably-sterile medical component, includes: a support element provided with elements for coupling the object; a stopper that can be coupled to the support element in such a manner as to define a first chamber for containing the object, and such that a grip portion of the support element projects from the stopper; and a cover that can be coupled to the stopper in such a manner as to define a second chamber inside which the grip portion of the support element extends, and such that a portion of the stopper coupled to the support element projects from the cover.
Method of installing a final dental prosthesis
A cradle, assembly, system and method for installing a prosthesis at a surgical site. The cradle temporarily engages the prosthesis and holds it in the correct orientation and position adjacent the surgical site. An aperture is defined in the cradle and a portion of the prosthesis is received therein. In one embodiment, the cradle, assembly and system are used to install a final dental prosthesis in a patient's mouth in a single visit to the dentist's office. A securement member pins the surgical template and subsequently the cradle to the jaw. A reinforced sub-structure on the final dental prosthesis is received in the aperture in the cradle. Cylinders attached to implants anchored in the jaw extend through holes in the sub-structure and are bonded to the prosthesis. The cradle is detached from the jaw and from the prosthesis prior to screws being re-inserted through the cylinders and into the implants.
Dental implant surgery organizer case
A dental implant organizer case includes a housing with a plurality of compartments selectively arranged therein. Each compartment includes: a respective lid pivotally mounted to the housing to cover the compartment's cavity when closed; means for biasing the lid from the closed to the open position; means to releasably secure the lid in the closed position; means to releasably support dental implant containers within the compartment, in an upright position; and a respective tooth number marking to indicate the tooth intended for the implant containers therein. The selectively arranged compartments may form a semi-circular or an in-line arrangement. Two compartment levels may be utilized, with the lower compartments being accessible using a tray being slidable with respect to the housing. Two cases may be secured together to be pivotable between collapsed and extended positions, where the first and second cases store dental implant containers for left-hand and right-hand teeth, respectively.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR TREATMENT OF AN ARTIFICIAL BONE IMPLANT WITH BLOOD
A method for treating an artificial bone implant with blood, according to the method bone material is placed in a container configured to be filled with blood, wherein the container comprises an opening and a cover configured to cover the opening of the container and a fixed separator that separates a bottom part and an upper part. The separator is provided with holes so that when the container is filled with whole blood, the blood in the bottom part is in full contact with the blood in the upper part, and wherein the bone material is in the upper part, on top of the separator.
IMPLANT PACKAGING CONTAINER
The present invention relates to an implant packaging container comprising: a body portion comprising an inner wall that defines a space for containing an implant; a cap separably coupled to one side of the body portion; a securing portion for fixing the position of the implant inside the body portion; a bottom portion coupled to the body portion so as to face the cap; and a body portion reflector provided on the inner wall of the body portion so as to reflect ultraviolet rays emitted from near the bottom portion. In addition, the present invention relates to an implant packaging container wherein, before an implant is installed in the patient's jawbone, the hydrophilicity of a fixture is improved in a simple and efficient manner such that the biocompatibility of the fixture with a biological tissue is improved, the time necessary for coupling with the bone during implantation is shortened, thereby reducing the pain that the patient might feel, and the implant remains in a sterilized condition until being installed in the patient's jawbone.
Fixation Base and Guides for Dental Prosthesis Installation
Apparatus and method for installing a multi-tooth dental prosthesis in one session are shown and described. A first tool attaches to the jawbone, and serves as a foundation for subsequently used guides. Existing teeth and dental fixtures are removed, and the bone tissue is removed to accommodate the prosthesis. Subsequently, a drill guide is used to drill implant holes. An abutment guide is then used to place abutments. Copings are then installed. Next, the prosthesis may be installed and cemented to the copings. A resinous filler material may be applied to fill gaps and holes in and between the copings and the prosthesis, and is sanded smooth.
IMPROVED DENTAL IMPLANT CONTAINER AND AN IMPLANT
The present invention refers to a temperature resistant dental implant container with dental implant comprising a polygonal or cylindrical, optically transparent container with a conically tapered interior for receiving a dental implant, a needle-pierceable, flexible, and liquid-tight septum, a lid which is separably connected to the container, wherein the interior of the container is configured to fix the position of the dental implant between the bottom of the septum and the bottom of the interior, and a dental implant comprising a conditioned surface. Further its use for transport and storage, and a method for in vitro cellular coating a dental implant are described.
FIXATION BASE AND GUIDES FOR DENTAL PROSTHESIS INSTALLATION
Apparatus and method for installing a dental prosthesis to maxillary or mandibular jawbone of a patient are shown and described. The apparatus and method include a fixation base for providing an attachment surface, where the fixation base has at least one feature that is designed to be scannable by an intraoral scanner.
Fixation Base and Guides for Dental Prosthesis Installation
Apparatus and method for installing a dental prosthesis to maxillary or mandibular jawbone of a patient are shown and described. The apparatus and method include a fixation base for providing an attachment surface and an abutment guide attachable to said fixation base in a position wherein the abutment guide is oriented to receive abutments and guide the abutments for placement on the implants. The abutment guide has at least one peg that is designed to be scannable by an intraoral scanner and is designed as a positioning structure that allows a dental prosthesis to be releasably attached to the abutment guide in a specific position.
