Lifting apparatus with a pivoting jaw structure
The lifting apparatus is a mechanical structure. The lifting apparatus is configured for use in manually lifting a load. The lifting apparatus attaches to the load such that a plurality of individuals are able to simultaneously lift the load. The lifting apparatus comprises a master beam, a grasping structure, and a rigging chain. The grasping structure and the rigging chain attach to the master beam. The plurality of individuals manipulate the lifting apparatus using the master beam. The grasping structure attaches the load to the master beam. The grasping structure adjusts to accommodate the form factor of the load. The rigging chain is a secondary attachment structure that attaches the load to the master beam such that the loading distribution of the load is balanced relative to the master beam such that the lifting apparatus is more easily manipulated by the plurality of individuals.
APPARATUS FOR LIFTING AND POSITIONING A REMOTE-CONTROLLED AIRCRAFT
The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a device that can be used to lift and/or position a remote-controlled (RC) aircraft as needed by a user (e.g., into/out of a transport vehicle). The device includes a handle that allows the user to grip and hold the device. The handle is operably connected to an arm that comprises an angled portion and a connector portion. The angled portion is angled to accommodate the canopy of an associated aircraft. The connector portion allows joining of the arm to an extender. The extender passes through the central portion of the aircraft to allow the user to lift and/or position the aircraft as desired.
DEVICE FOR GRIPPING SLAB-SHAPED ELEMENTS
A gripping device (10) for sheet-shaped elements (L) comprising: at least one longitudinal bar (20) adjustable in length and provided with a plurality of suction gripping members (30) connected along a longitudinal axis (A) of the longitudinal bar (20).
Automatic locking mechanism and clamping devices with automatic locking mechanism
An automatic locking mechanism can include one or more annular elements having teeth facing each other or facing away from each other. The automatic locking mechanism can include a rod disposed between the annular elements. The rod can have one or more pins configured to interface with the teeth of the annular elements. The pins and the teeth are also configured to rotate the rod when the annular elements move relative to the rod. The rotation of the rod can toggle a hook end of the rod in a hook receptacle, which can change states of the locking mechanism.
Lifting Device and Related Methods
Disclosed is a lifting device and related methods. The lifting device features a housing with at least two arms that each have engagement cams. The lifting device is placed over a tubular object and then the arms are pulled upwards until the engagement cams are in contact with the tubular object. Once in contact with the tubular object, the force from the arms creates a secure hold between the engagement cams and the object, whereby a user can lift the object and move it from one point to another safely and efficiently.
Disposable toilet tote bag
A disposable toilet tote bag, fabricated of waterproof vinyl, plastic or fabric, fully assembled with secured side walls, back wall, front wall, and bottom wall, and designed to a shape that conveniently holds a used toilet for enduring removal. A liner is provided within the tote bag, to add to its reinforcement during usage. Any waste fluids that drain from the toilet, after it has been removed, and is being conveyed, or held within the bag, and will not soil any surrounding area. An adjustable shoulder strap fits over the user's shoulder, for conveyance of the bag, and hand lifts are provided to either side of the bag, to facilitate its conveyance by a single installer.
DEVICE FOR TRANSPORTING, IN PARTICULAR SKIDDING OR JACKING, A HEAVY OBJECT
The invention relates to a device (10) for transporting, in particular skidding or jacking, a heavy object (4) supported on at least one guide (2), comprising an actuator (7) for effecting transport, in particular at least one hydraulic cylinder, one end of which is configured for connection to the object (4) or a foundation and the other end is connected to a shoe (8) configured for connection to the guide (2). The shoe (8) comprises at least two pins (11) configured to be inserted into openings (9) in the guide (2) to provide, at least in the direction of the guide (2) a positive connection between the shoe (8) and the guide (2).
