ACCUMULATING CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A conveyor system comprising a plurality of conveyor elements forming a conveyor chain for conveying hanging goods, wherein the conveyor chain extends along a conveyor path. A plurality of hanging elements are movable along and mounted on a guide which extends at least in sections parallel to the conveyor path. The hanging elements comprise an engaging section configured to contact in each case one of the conveyor elements to receive a driving force from the conveyor element which is directed along the guide. The engaging section of the hanging elements is tiltable between a conveying position and an accumulating position, wherein the engaging section is straightened in the conveying position to receive the driving force, and is tilted away in the accumulating position to evade the driving force. The engaging section presses into its conveying position.

An appliance for loading a suspended transport pocket from above with a transport item, in particular with a piece item, including a feed device for feeding the transport item into a transfer region of a suspended conveying device with a guide rail and with transport pockets that are movable along the guide rail. A method and system for fulfilling customer orders having a data base that is adapted to store a plurality of customer orders and identity of warehouse inventory items and return inventory items that make up each of the customer orders. Some of the orders are single item orders with only one inventory item assigned to that order. Some of the orders are multiple item orders with multiple inventory items assigned to that order. Returned items that are processed and determined to be acceptable to be re-distributed are re-introduced into the inventory data base and are available to be assigned to an order. Warehouse inventory and return inventory are maintained independent of each other to reduce redundant operations. The order fulfilment system retrieves items from either or both of the warehouse inventory and return inventory to fulfil customer orders. The order fulfilment system may utilizes human associates or robot associates.
CONVEYOR SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONVEYING GOODS
A conveyor system for conveying goods having a lying conveyor for conveying the goods horizontally, where the lying conveyor includes a sorting device with multiple delivery points, and having an overhead conveyor, by way of which the goods are conveyed in a suspended manner on a goods carrier, where the overhead conveyor is connected to at least one of the delivery points for delivering the goods.
Barrel rolling safety device
A barrel rolling safety device and a method relating to using the barrel safety rolling device are disclosed herein. The barrel safety rolling device includes a base plate having a plurality of apertures, a stopping arm having at least a first end, a second end, and a stopping arm aperture, and a pin having at least a removal ring. Each of the apertures may be configured to receive the pin, and one or more bushings allow the stopping arm to rotate between various positions based on which aperture of the apertures receives the pin. In various embodiments, the stopping arm may allow a barrel to traverse a dunnage in a first direction, but prevent the barrel from traversing the dunnage in a second direction. In various embodiments, the stopping arm may prevent the barrel from traversing the rack in both the first direction and second direction.
Appliance for charging transport pockets
A transport pocket for the suspended transport of a transport item along a conveying direction via a suspended conveying device includes a pocket rear wall and a pouch wall that, together with the pocket rear wall, form a receiving compartment for the transport item. The receiving compartment forms a receiving opening for the transport item and is designed to assume an open position and a space-saving compact position. A fastener connects the transport pocket to a conveying member of the suspended conveying device. A cam element, which can interact with an activation device of the suspended conveying device, which is designed as a cam guide, and via which cam guide the receiving compartment can be moved into the open position or be held in this. The at least one cam element is arranged on the pouch wall of the transport pocket.
Device for loading and unloading rail-guided suspended conveyor systems
A system for transferring units to/from a rail-guided suspended conveyor system includes a transfer conveying device with one or more first conveying units and a conveyor system with a plurality of second conveying units. The first and second conveying units each have a rack with tines and form a receptacle for bearing a unit. The system is configured such that in a transfer zone a rack of a first conveying unit of the transfer device and a rack of a second conveying unit of the conveyor system penetrate by meshing so with movement of the first and the second conveying unit relative to another either a unit initially on the rack of the first conveying unit remains on the rack of the second conveying unit, or a unit initially on the rack of the second conveying unit remains on the rack of the first conveying unit.

A conveyed goods container for an overhead conveying device for transporting conveyed goods includes front and rear walls, a bottom abutting on the front and rear walls, and a storage space between the front and rear walls and the bottom, in which the conveyed good is transportable. The bottom forms a first longitudinal edge, which adjoins the front wall, a second longitudinal edge, which adjoins the rear wall, spaced from the first longitudinal edge, a first end edge extending between the first and second longitudinal edges, and a second end edge extending between the first and second longitudinal edges. The conveyed goods container includes a loading and/or unloading opening delimited by the front wall and rear wall and abutting on the first end edge and a side wall stop abutting on the second end edge, against which the conveyed goods can be applied in a transport position.

In a method for opening a transport pocket (15), which is moved in a conveying direction (BR) along a running rail (11) extending in the conveying direction (BR) for the conveying of goods suspended on a carriage (12), simple and precise loading and/or unloading of the transport pocket (15) is enabled by the fact that the carriage (12) with the transport pocket (15) suspended thereon is stopped in its forward movement at a predetermined point of the running rail (11) in order to open the transport pocket (15), and that the transport pocket (15) of the carriage (12) is opened for loading and/or unloading of conveyed goods to be transported.
