The Adjustable Chute is a user friendly product for consumers to dispose of lawn debris and or grass clippings collected from a grass catcher from a lawn mower. The Adjustable Chute is constructed of durable materials for longevity and reliability purposes. The unique design of the Adjustable Chute with the upper portion rectangular for easy attachment of the grass catchers itself, and lower portion tapered for easy disposal of yard waste or grass clippings, allows hands free transfer of yard waste from a grass catcher through the Adjustable Chute into the waiting collection brown bag. The Adjustable was conceived through personal necessity after realizing how incredibly difficult it is to transfer grass clippings after being collected in a grass catcher from the grass catcher into the brown recycle bag. This time saving product will give consumers peace of mind in knowing they can transfer grass clippings from the grass catcher effortlessly, quickly, neatly and without the need of ever having to touch the grass by hand.

The sample transfer system includes a conduit which may define a passage for transferring a plurality of sample containers, an input assembly which may be configured to allow the plurality of sample containers to pass through the conduit in a predefined order, and an exposure assembly which may be configured to receive the sample containers via the conduit and rotate the sample containers in front of a radiation source.

Waste disposal system

A waste disposal system for the disposal of consumables through a waste chute into a waste container includes a waste chute having a first opening and a second opening, wherein the first opening is situated outside the waste container and the second opening opens toward the waste container. The first opening and the second opening are arranged at a first distance from one another, wherein the waste chute includes a plurality of self-resetting lamellae for the partial or complete closure of the openings. The lamellae form at least two lamella annuli arranged at a second distance above one another, wherein at least one first lamella annulus closes the first opening and at least one second lamella annulus closes the second opening, and the second distance between the lamella annuli is at least one third, preferably at least half and particularly preferably at least three quarters of the first distance.

Loading arm with hatch plate for top hatch of transport tank

A loading arm that transfers flowing bulk material from a storage vessel and into a transport tank through a top hatch of the transport tank that is carried on a truck or rail car for transport includes an articulating arm having a plurality of connected hollow pipes. A hatch plate connected to the discharge of the aim and defines a top member, a bottom member and an outer edge connecting the top and bottom members. At least one of the bottom member and the outer edge of the hatch plate defines a resiliently flexible section configured to deform upon engaging with the top hatch of the transport tank.

STACKING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR BINDING OPERATIONS
20170225812 · 2017-08-10 ·

A baling machine may be adapted for use in stacking packages to support binding operations such as strapping, banding or wrapping. A stack of filled packages is accumulated in a chute that is disposed above and in registration with a conveyor, with a baseplate disposed above the conveyor in registration with the chute. The stack of filled packages is released from the chute into a magazine disposed between and in registration with the chute and the baseplate, so that the stack of filled packages rests on the baseplate inside the magazine. The magazine then moves in a conveyor-forward direction to move the stack of filled packages off the baseplate onto a conveyor surface of the conveyor, and the stack of filled packages is released from the magazine to move forward along the conveyor toward a binding machine, such as a strapping machine, banding machine or wrapping machine.

Tube handling machine and method

An illustrative example tube handling machine includes a lifter configured to receive a plurality of tubes when at least a portion of the lifter is at a first position. The lifter is configured to lift the plurality of tubes to a second, higher vertical position. A plurality of cells are respectively configured for at least temporarily holding the plurality of tubes. A first one of the cells is situated to receive the plurality of tubes from the lifter at the second vertical position. The cells are situated relative to each other such that the plurality of tubes can be sequentially transferred among the cells from the first one of the cells to a last one of the cells that releases the plurality of tubes to a delivery location.
