Device for guiding and pivoting bodies
The present disclosure relates to a device for guiding and pivoting bodies via sliding the bodies through the device. The device is produced using a generative manufacturing method. A system includes at least two of the devices arranged in parallel, a conveyor device, and a control device. The control device controls the conveyor device responsive to receiving a control command and feeds bodies selectively to one of the devices. A treatment line for polyethylene terephthalate (PET) containers includes a process path, a preform storage unit, a preform oven of a stretch blow-molding machine, and the device arranged between the preform storage unit and the preform oven. A treatment line for PET containers includes a process path, a container closure storage unit, a closing unit for closing the PET containers, and the device arranged between the container closure storage unit and the closing unit.
Underground storage system with gravitational and buoyancy force-based package delivery
A system for dispensing packages from an underground storage facility is disclosed, more specifically to disclose systems for handling packages using gravity and buoyancy. An underground storage system comprises a storage facility and at least one open air fluid column. The storage facility has an above ground portion connected to a hollow underground portion with a bottom. A helical ramp extends from the above ground portion to the bottom of the storage facility. Devices are located adjacent to the helical ramp to dispense packages to the helical ramp. A conveyor is located at the bottom of the underground portion to receive packages from the helical ramp. An airlock is located adjacent to the bottom of the underground portion and is connected to a conveyor. Packages are discharged from the storage facility via the airlock.
MAGAZINE FOR STORING FASTENERS AND SIMILAR OBJECTS
A magazine for storing elements which each have a shaft and a head. The magazine includes a cylinder defining a shell surface in which is formed a helical-shaped groove. The shaft of each element to be stored can be inserted into the groove while the head of each element protrudes outward radially over the groove. The head of each element can be impacted in the peripheral direction by a suitable carrier in order to move the elements through the groove one after the other to an outlet end of the groove where the elements are ejected individually.
