HOLLOW-POINT CONDENSING-COMPACTION TOOL
20220160371 · 2022-05-26 ·

A rotary tool configured for high speed condensing and/or cutting action to form a hole. The tool has a body around which is formed a plurality of flutes. Each flute has a cutting face on one side and a densifying face on the other side. A land between adjacent flutes establishes a substantially margin-less working edge along each cutting face. The working edges are configured to produce osseodensification when the tool is operated in the condensing mode. A cavity is formed inside the body with access through its apical end. A plurality of spurs rim the apical end. Each spur has a grinding edge that is offset from said longitudinal axis in the cutting direction of rotation. Some of the flutes open directly into a gullet formed between adjacent spurs. Some of the flutes open directly into leading flanks that fall away from each grinding edge.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROSTHETIC PLACEMENT, SURGICAL GUIDE PLACEMENT, AND ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY REASSEMBLY

A robotic system and method involve a fiducial marker engaged with a maxillofacial anatomy, and an end effector at a distal end of an articulating arm member. The end effector receives a dental element comprising a prosthetic device, a surgical guide, or an orthognathic element, in a predetermined spatial relationship therewith. A controller device directly communicates with the fiducial marker, the articulating arm member, and the end effector, to determine an end effector disposition relative to the fiducial marker during end effector movement according to a virtual procedure plan for placing the dental element in aligned relation to the maxillofacial anatomy, and directs the articulating arm member to physically control allowable movement of the end effector, directly relative to the disposition of the end effector with respect to the fiducial marker and according to the virtual procedure plan, to place the dental element for securement to the maxillofacial anatomy.

BONE GRAFT CARRIER
20220160486 · 2022-05-26 ·

A bone graft carrier has a body. The body has a containing portion, a conveying portion, and an opening. The containing portion is formed at one of two ends of the body and has a chamber. The conveying portion is formed at the other one of the two ends of the body, is tapered, is connected to the containing portion, and has a delivery channel communicating with the chamber of the containing portion. The opening is formed through a top surface of the body and directly communicates with the chamber of the containing portion and the delivery channel of the conveying portion.

Dental implant distractor

Disclosed is a dental implant distractor, including an implant module and a traction module. The implant module includes an implant, a sealing screw, and a base body. The traction module includes a connecting screw rod, a traction screw rod, an inner sleeve, and an outer sleeve; the connecting screw rod is threadedly connected to the base body; the traction screw rod is located below the connecting screw rod; the inner sleeve is provided below the base body. This apparatus can automatically complete the installation of the base body and the sealing of the connecting screw rod after traction is completed; since the installation of the base body and the sealing do not need to be performed again, operation steps are simplified, the clinical operation difficulty is reduced, and the problem of slippage of an upper bone section to the original position is avoided.

Check-direction pin and guide tap drill kit for implanting a fixture of implant

A direction checking pin and a guide tap drill kit for insertion of a fixture for an implant includes an endosseous fixing guide, a direction checking pin body and a guide tap drill. The endosseous fixing guide and the direction checking pin body are combined and then inserted into an already-formed insertion hole and only the direction checking pin body is removed after checking a direction of the insertion hole, and the guide tap drill is inserted to the endosseous fixing guide remaining in the insertion hole and then rotated so as to enter into the insertion hole such that a screw thread is formed in accordance with the direction of the insertion hole at an inner wall of the insertion hole by the tap drill.

DENTAL TORQUE WRENCH
20220151732 · 2022-05-19 · ·

A torque wrench, including: a head region with a receiving opening; a bending-resistant shaft region adjoins the head region; a support formed on the shaft region; and an actuating lever including an elastically bendable portion and a handle. The receiving opening receives a screwing instrument and defines an axis of rotation. The actuating lever, in resting position, is spaced apart from the in the circumferential direction to the axis of rotation. If a screwing instrument is inserted into the opening, the actuating lever transmits a torque. The wrench has an indicator region, which the exerted torque can be read as a result of the deflection of the actuating lever. When a reference force is reached, the bending portion comes into contact with the support. When a force is applied, the bending portion can be in the tightening direction and the torque can be read in the region.

IMPLANTATION SYSTEM AND ADD-ON ELEMENT FOR AN IMPLANTATION SYSTEM
20230263603 · 2023-08-24 ·

An implantation system has an implant body, an add-on element, and a connection element. The implant body has a connection inner profile or a connection outer profile; which cooperates with a connection outer profile or with a connection inner profile of the add-on element. The add-on element is connectable to the implant body in a rotationally-fixed manner. The connection element is screwable through an aperture of the add-on element into a thread of the implant body in order to detachably connect the add-on element to the implant body. The disclosure also describes an add-on element for an implantation system. The add-on element has a connection inner profile or a connection outer profile for producing a rotationally-fixed connection to a connection outer profile or to a connection inner profile of an implant body, and having an aperture for introducing a connection element.

Fixation pin

A method including fixing a dental drill template with a fixation pin including a rod and a head attached to the rod. The dental drill template can be fixed by inserting the rod into the drill template or a sleeve provided in the drill template such that a bearing surface of the head bears at least partially on the drill template. The rod has a shape of an essentially circular cylinder and extends from the bearing surface of the head at an essentially right angle. A diameter of the head at the bearing surface is larger than the diameter of the rod.
