Automated feeder chute system
An automated feed chute system for a cube feeder that includes: a feed chute, where the feed chute includes a closed position, an open position or any desired position in between; a mounting pin extending from one side of the feed chute; an opening mechanism, where the opening mechanism engages the mounting pin; and a mechanism to remotely activate the actuator. The opening actuator mechanism includes an arm that attaches to the mounting pin on the feed chute. The feed chute includes a pivot point, where the feed chute pivots about the pivot point to move the feed chute between the closed position, open position or any desired position in between. Preferably, the means to automatically activate the opening mechanism is a remote control.
Weight-based chute control for a farm implement
A system and method for discharging material from a chute on a farm implement into a container or bin such that the discharged material is evenly distributed in the container or bin. The system and method includes a farm implement with a bin for holding material, a conveyor for discharging material from the bin and a chute at the end of the conveyor for directing the material discharged from the conveyor. The chute may be moved into a plurality of positions based on sensor outputs to facilitate the even distribution of material in the container or bin receiving the discharged material.
Diversion assembly
A diversion assembly for use with a feed material. The diversion assembly includes a plurality of movable gate chutes, a first conveyor, and a second conveyor. The plurality of movable gate chutes are each positionable in a retracted position and an extended position. The first conveyor is configured to carry, for each of any of the plurality of movable gate chutes in the retracted position, a first portion of the feed material to a first area. The second conveyor is configured to carry, for each of any of the plurality of movable gate chutes in the extended position, a second portion of the feed material to a second area. The second area is spaced apart from the first area.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DELIVERING PROPPANT TO A BLENDER
A system for conveying proppant includes a conveyor assembly having a conveyor belt that receives proppant from one or more containers having proppant stored therein. The system also includes a conveyor auxiliary unit connected to an end of the conveyor assembly having one or more joints to enable expansion and collapse of the conveyor belt from the conveyor assembly. The system further includes a proppant chute to direct the proppant from the conveyor belt into a blending hopper, the proppant chute being positioned at a higher elevation than an inlet of the blending hopper.
SORTING APPARATUS, SEPARATING SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
A sorting apparatus for sorting workpieces of a workpiece sheet includes a support region with support elements for placing the workpiece sheet thereon. At least one sorting opening for the workpieces to fall through is formed between adjacent support elements. The sorting apparatus further includes a collection region arranged below the support region and having at least two collection compartments for collecting the workpieces, a guide region arranged between the support region and the collection region and having at least one guide element for guiding the workpieces falling through the at least one sorting opening to the collection compartments, and an adjustment device for adjusting the collection compartments relative to the at least one guide element and/or for adjusting the at least one guide element relative to the collection compartments such that, via the at least one guide element, workpieces are selectively fed to a respective collection compartment.
SORTING CONVEYOR SYSTEM
A conveyor system comprising a sorting conveyor sorting articles off one or both sides to a chute system that includes an upper chute and a lower slide. Articles slide down the chute system to a discharge conveyor. The upper chute and the lower slide are separated by a gap. And the upper chute has a topography that prevents articles from tipping over onto another side. The chute system provides a large drop in elevation in a small footprint to conserve floor space.
Telescoping flow control discharge spout assembly for a conveyor of granular material
An auger conveyor for granular material or grain has a discharge outlet portion which pivotally supports a tubular inner spout section of a telescoping spout assembly. The inner spout section is pivoted by a remotely controlled actuator between an outwardly projecting upper discharge position and a downwardly projecting lower discharge position. The assembly includes an outer tubular spout section supported by the inner spout section for telescoping movement on the inner spout section, and an actuator in the form of an elongated link member pivotally connects the outer spout section to the conveyor outlet portion to produce the telescoping movement of the outer spout section in response to pivoting of the inner spout section. The spout assembly maintains a substantially constant vertical height while moving between the upper and lower discharge positions to avoid interference with a container receiving the grain.
MODULAR HANDLING SYSTEM WITH MULTI-LEVEL SORTER AND METHOD OF USING SAME
A multi-level sorter of a handling system for transporting cases is disclosed. The handling system has conveyors extending between locations of a facility. The multi-level sorter includes a multi-level frame positionable adjacent at least one outlet of at least one of the conveyors, at least one diverter carried by the multi-level frame, and at least one bin supported about at least one of the levels of the multi-level frame. Each of the outlets of the conveyors aligned with a level of the multi-level frame to pass the cases thereto. The diverter has rollers to pass the cases along a main path and crossbands to selectively divert the cases from the main path. Each of the bins is alignable with the diverter to receive the diverted cases therefrom whereby the cases are sorted.
Adjustable Transition For Connecting Discharge End Of Conveyor To Grain Storage Bin Or Grain Dryer
A transition for connecting a discharge end of a conveyor to an inlet end of a grain storage bin or grain dryer is disclosed. The transition includes an upper half configured to be attached to the discharge end of the conveyor, a lower half configured to be attached to the inlet end of the grain storage bin or grain dryer, and a pivot joint connecting the upper and lower halves to one another while allowing the upper and lower halves to pivot relative to one another to accommodate an angle at which the conveyor is inclined.
Apparatus for facilitating roofing debris removal
An apparatus is disclosed for facilitating removal of debris from the roof of a construction location or other raised work site. The apparatus comprises a chute comprising multiple sections that may telescope to extend in length, where the chute is configured for implementation with a mobile platform.
